Because it wouldn't have been as big as it was if Kurupt was on it. No offense to Kurupt, but the version with Trick Daddy has a better chance of radio success. Even if they kept Kurupt, his verses wouldn't go well with the whole vibe of the Nitty beat.
I suspect Kurupt was removed because Amaru could not get the clearence from the artist or he demanded too much money. Like several people who said Pac was a friend, then demand money from Afeni.

once again you're completely wrong.

artists don't ask for prohibitive quantities of money. actually it's quite the opposite. e-40 has told me over the phone (a legit "source" some might say) that he'd give a verse for free to keep a collaboration intact.

kurupt was removed becauyse of the commercial appeal of trick daddy, as well as the questionable relationship to amaru his affiliation with daz has caused. simple and plain.

for someone who doesn't know much, you sure do talk a lot.

what do you mean by hit single...?

i don't think pac is still able to make the #1 in the usa..maybe if 50 cent sing the hook and it's a dre beat..

in europe ghetto gospel was very succesful..it was banned from trl in germany because it was #1 ten times in a row..

i love most 2pac's og songs but i don't think there is anyone which could be a hit in the usa..

shit there could have been loads of singles,i'm pickin the tracks wit the best lyrical content cause beats can always be changed.
never call u bitch again - it would be a 2nd or 3rd single.
street fame - for the streets
friends - for the streets and clubs
still ballin - release 1 with kurupt and a dre remix feat snoop,kurupt,quick,e40 it would have brought the west coast back.
homeboys - solo if there is one, people i know who dont really listen to pac but rate cause of songs like this where spits the truth.
there are loads of others like but off top of my head thats what i would choose

Who Do You Believe In actually got pretty decent airplay out here in LA. I remember always hearing it on the radio back when I was in high school. But a lot of times (for obvious reasons) Pac songs get played here that don't become "hits" anywhere else, so I can't speak for nationwide.
