u can be touched og Question

Ok, lets clear this up once and for all.

Death Row era and/or period - October 95' (when he began recording AEOM) to his death.

Makaveli era - this is obviously incorporated in the Death Row era, but I think it should ONLY be referred to when talking about the 7 Day Theory sessions. So technichally, the Makaveli era is only about a week long, lol.....yea, he was saying Makaveli before he made the actual album, but this just creates too much confusion. So, Death Row era = all his time on Death Row, Makaveli era = 7 Day Theory sessions......now, is everyone satisfied?? Good.

U Can Be Touched og is definatly a Death Row era song, but since it was produced by Johnny J, it was indeed made before the 7 Day Theory sessions, thus it is NOT a song from the actual Makaveli period.

these so called eras should be labeled by the style of music tupac made in them. early era (2pacalypse, s4mn) are very political and revolutionary. the thug life era is very hardcore and street, the matw era is very reflective and deep, the makaveli era is like a combination of all of it. technically you are right in that all eyez on me has a more party-type feel to it whereas other stuff he recorded later on isn't. i think the last 9 months should fall into the same category though because of his "war strategy" on biggie and puffy which he pretty much implemented in his music soon as he came out of jail.
