I thought it was kinda funny how the writer of this article pointed out to us that 2Pac had worked so hard to keep his legacy alive, that not too many artists even in different genres can compete with it to this day....

Out with the new, in with the old. Koch is releasing Tupac's Beginnings: The Lost Tapes 1988-1991. Nothing extremely special or new here, but it is another Tupac record, if only the Beastie Boys, Mos Def, Blackstar, and a bunch of other groups I like released albums as often as this guy....

Beginnings: The Lost Tapes 1988-1991 is the upcoming posthumously released album from the late hip hop icon Tupac Shakur. It will contain some of Shakur's first songs recorded in 1989. The collection of songs were originally released in 2000, and is now being re-released. The album will feature 10 songs featuring Shakur's early crew. These are the tracks that led to Tupac joining the tour with Digital Underground as a roadie for Chopmaster J and a dancer and crew member for [Digital Underground]. The album is produced by Digital Underground's co-founder [Chopmaster J].

Hopefully they cleaned up the sounded and remastered it. I'm not expecting them to have done, but it would be nice.

Burnin' Heart. Let Knowlegde Drop and A Day In The Life were raw with lyrics and funky beats, but the remix to Misplaced Mic and Minnie The Moocher had ugly azz beatz

one of the best albums I heard in 2007....so clean from all the garbage that is floating around nowdays. No misogyny, no homophobia, no drugs, nor violence - just classic old school rap. Probably, one of the greatest records ever recorded by Tupac.
