Everyone knows the symbolism of the cross, there's not many people I know who get one without it having direct religious connactations. But if you want to go down that road I could say that I want a Thug Life or Only God Can Judge Me tattoo because I think it looks good, not because it neccessarily has any relationship to Tupac.

But the point I was making was if someone were to get a cross tattooed on their back it could have a variety of meanings.
One could be to carry my religion wherever I went.
Another could be, that I want to refute claims that Jesus died for me & it myself rather than him who carries the burden of my sins.

Fuck the haters man! Get what you want. No matter what you get done people will always have something to say about it. If you like it thats all what matters and for the fucks who dont like it get over it. If you think he will hate it in 20 years then let him find out the hard way. Not all people regret the tattoo's they get. So fuck you and leave the nigga alone. It could be worse he could get like Bin Laden tattoo'd on him LOL!
2pac is not a historical figure? whoever said that think about it again. in 50 years i know i will be talking about him. in hundred years i know my kids will be talking about him. in 200 years i know that whatever the type of music emerged from hip hop will worship him. because he's one of the most influental artists of hip hop music...and as times goes on, he's even becoming "the" most influental, .. just look at the general music industry right now... from rap to rock, country to pop, they all talking about how 2pac influenced them. it will only get bigger.

If he feels 2pac is an inspiration to him, or he feels something deeper then i can imagine, then go ahead get the tatoo. If he feels it just looks cool... Then go ahead get the tattoo. Its his body, People get tatoos of butterflies and barbedwire, why? Mostly because its art, they like the way it looks. They throw it on their body, and they want to represent the art as a portrait that is everlasting on their body... Who cares, their body. If you ask me, I think it would be more interesting to see a tattoo of Tupac then a butterfly, a skull, tribal stuff, etc... but in essense they could be the exact thing, just art. Do you what you want man =), good luck on how it turns out, hopefully it will be the way you want it to be.
