Tupac music

Hi i aint a newbie as such been around here since it began...and the same age that Pac would have been ;) But who cares...

Now i am an OG purist...all music since it was tampered with is just rubbish...BUT you kids have to see it from his mums perspective reference who she chooses to produce his music...its 2005...and you need modern beats to make cash......I tell you the truth...i played you can be touched OG to a person and said what year is that track...(to me it sounds as new as anything)...he said it sounds old...yes old...to us purists its sounds now..because we are that era....

Stop the dissing people...its all about getting money...be thankful we got alot of the og's leaked.

To people keeping og tracks to yourselves cause you bought it and feel special....you are fools...how can you keep pacs music secret... that dont make you a true fan does it?More freaks on a power trip....i bet your pissed at the lastest leaks.. :D

Set 2pac music free...............

Hellrazor05....changing words it to make it look like he still here...not direspectful at all...its his mama you know...do you really think Pac would have minded? He loved his mama....

I agree Em fucked the last album..absolute rubbish...Better Dayz was ok though....we just cant have OG's in todays sound...as much as i would like it...it would be financial suicide!...There aint enuff Pac fans who would actually buy the album of og's to make it worthwhile.

I don't believe the "old beats won't sell" argument. People will buy the album because it's Tupac, not because it has some popular producer. The beats are supposed to be from mid '90s, because that's when he made the songs, and that's what people are going to expect. If this were true, then no record company would bother releasing anything that wasn't made in the last couple years. Why do Bob Marley, Nirvana, etc., etc. still sell records? R U Still Down? had originals and it did fine. Still I Rise had some, and it only suffered from a lack of promotion. Then they seemed to give up on the originals for no apparant reason. When has there been any evidence that using originals won't sell?

we cant really stop dissin people for fuckin up 2pac songs/albums, what eminem did to L2TG was wrong he tampered, manipulated and made pac sound like he had downsyndrome and shit. the beats were clap clap bum bum, now even a 2 year old could come up with that concept and maybe add in a flute or some shit. some tracks they just need to leave alon for example never be peace, that shit is unbearble. They gotta try keepin it the way pac wanted it like matw, aeom, tl, and all the rest of the shit he released. i know times have changed but u cant bring in a new sound (or emimen poor excuse for a beat) and say thats good, 2pac would have been pleased. get all the peeps he knew to work on projects theyll bring the modern sound plus have that pac flavour.

something...R U STILL DOWN & SIR were out in the late 90's the beats fitted even though modified they were closer to OG's...then it went downhill...they had too...remember there aint alot of die hard pac fans out there in the grand scheme of things...His mama choose to try for a new wider audience....we all want it pure..but then we aint trying to make money.

But where was there any indication that using originals wouldn't sell? R U Still Down sold well, SIR sold well considering it was a group album and the lack of promotion. Then they decided to start remixing everything for no reason other than the assumption it wouldn't sell.

so what if the shits old? instead of putting words in pacs mouth and makin it look like hes still alive, we should be letting the younger generations know that his stuff is old.....he made it all in the 90's, he didnt just record these now...the mans dead for gods sake, leave him be. let his music live on the way he wanted it to... people still buy AEOM and all those cds to this day so why would another one of those be bad? i still hear "california love" in clubs all over the place and thats from 96.
Yeah.
