'Dedication' is such a great song. :thumb:

I agree. Kurupt rips that track, does Pac some justice. I would like to know what that song came from, too, though.

BTW, "Make That Ass Shake", from Kurupt's new album, is pretty dope. I know the title makes you think its gonna be some club shit, but it actually is some pretty hardcore old style Kurupt shit.

I don't know where this song is from... Btw, I'm impressed with Kurupt part here...

Everybody throw the 2 up
Nowadays everything seems to be f--ked up
Kurupt locked up
and im living the life
got everybody coming round living the lie
Trying to f--k with Kurupt i think do or die
where my homie i tell
i got a story to tell
about this nigga we knew
oh so well by the name of Pac
i just began it dont stop
it dont quit
coming though with the twin glocks
Pac was a Ridah though
The Homie came through
all the time blazin up
nigga what the bomb
im wondering whats going on
he's like Nigga nowadays we living in the Vietnam state of mind
im like shit I live too
the same way you act i like to act
they way you pack a strap i pack a strap
we was two of a kind
but the same it really did'nt really matter
we just had different names
im like yo pac thats my top Dog
the top G i know
and he's The top hog
he came in the game
then he had to act
got all his cash it's just like that
now pac lives on even though he's passed on
i grab the microphone grab my gat and get my blast on
im like pac whatever you gonna live
in my eyesight its like that from daylight to night Nigga
yo ride

I'm also a really big Kurupt fan. I've got pretty much all of his albums. He can be a sick-ass lyricist at times ("New York, New York" was a clear indication of that), but most of his albums end up being mediocre, with the exception of Tha Streetz Iz a Mutha, which to date is still one of my favorite albums. When he's on his game, he's fucking dope, but he slips more often than we'd like. The cool thing about Kurupt is that he's really a freestyler, and a decent number of his tracks were actually freestyled... with "Trylogy" being one of them from what I've read, and I have a feeling a few other songs like "Live on the Mic" (with KRS-One) were also freestyles. However, I think "Callin' Out Names" was a shitty-ass diss song.
