Seeing to how he has a HUGE category, I know it's hard to come up with the list. A lot of people use iPods or iTunes or something else. Maybe looking at the top most played might help you out?
I think I relate to or really feel what he was saying/doing with the songs I've chosen.
I've been feelin' down lately and I feel like this dude still talks to me when I am, so I go listen to him rather than "Teach Me How To Dougie" shit. This is not to say I still live in the 90's though.
These are mine, what are yours? (I left it open for one honorable mention).
Dear Momma - I don't think a song will EVER touch me like this one. This one hit close to home in a few ways. I might not be able to relate to the crack fiend momma line, but what I can also interpret from it, means something else to me.
Keep Ya Head Up - I think EVERY kid in the ghetto should listen to this song at least once a day. This is pure wisdom and emotion.
Changes - This shit is still relevent till today. The other day, I heard the accapella on Diddy's "I'll be missing you" on Youtube, I cried. Possibly because I'm emotional right now, i dunno. But it hit me, and i didn't expect it.
I Ain't Mad At Cha - This song just does it for me and hits close to home too.
On My Block (Remix) - In my eyes, this is one of the best stories he's ever told. Everytime I hear it, it's like I heard it for the first time. RAW.
Until The End Of Time - "Perhaps I was addicted to the dark side? Somewhere inside my childhood i missed my heart die." Those lyrics are possibly one of the best openings to a song toward people who grow up like me.
When Thugs Cry (OG) But either is honestly fine. - This one is self explantory and what I listen to when I'm feeling how and what he's talking about.
Me N My Girlfriend - I woke up to this songs chorus for a year. When I feel I'm on top of the world, I bump this. My girlfriend is whatever that keeps me going.
Starin Thru My Rearview - For when I reminsce of the past.
Pain - This is quite possibly the rawest Pac ever went on a track and I feel it everytime he gets on the mic. I just hate listening to the middle verse. I wish Pac had 3 verses. The middle verse does not ruin the song though, it's still good, and I guess it helps build me up for Pac's final verse.
One honorable Mention:
Better Dayz - It was a toss up between this and Me N My Girlfriend. I can't listen to it on repeat like the others though. Maybe because the Isley brother in the background annoys me after a bit. He sounds dope, don't get me wrong, but after a while I just get annoyed. I'm sure if I ever do Jail Time, this one will be top 10, for sure.
