Ahh OK. Anyway, I think you are safe from religious nuts :thumb:
Depends how much I run my mouth. I've considered going to the podium at the UK Asian Music Awards and announcing to everyone attending that Bhindranwale was a terrorist. Doubt I'd make it out of the building.....lol.

It's OK though, I have more subversive ways of pissing off those bakwaas pindoos.

If you apply Sandeep's logic to other groups of people...well, then, you have one strongly prejudiced motherfucker. That was my issue with his post. It's a very strong generalization.

not over the internet, in real-life.

if you feel this strongly about it, let it be known to the people you intend to inform and make known that they are wrong; face-to-face.

Sandeep, I don't see how saying that religious folk will harm you for offending their religion is in any way helpful to your cause.

lol, exactly

And I have told people in real life. The problem (and part of the evil) of religion is that people in it are indoctrinated and brainwashed since the day they are born. They simply don't have the mental capacity to accept that such a big part of their life is evil and wrong. Even if they are logical people and accept the evidence that you present as being factual, they can't break away from it. Religious people are like sheep that way.

With these people the best you can do is plant the seeds of doubt and hope that over time, they do research of their own and eventually come to the realisation.

If you were raised to believe that the world was created by Mutant Unicorns since the day you were born, and everyone around you believed that, there was an entire community and infrastructure, books, writings based around this belief....then one day someone came along and told you it was all bullshit, you wouldn't be able to accept that either. You'd probably fervently defend it and attack the person who is telling it like it is. You simply would have no way of being able to understand that everything you'd been raised to believe in was not real.

It's called indoctrination, and it's sickening.

Gays are "lying, deceiving, promiscuos and majority of them are cheating bitches and overly feminine and ouright willing to do something to their next victim."

Black people "smoke crack, rob people and don't look after their kids."

I see no difference.

I always felt that it's never the doctrine that is evil, it's the people behind it.

Looking through most religions I've always noticed that the core concept of it is never really destructive. Obviously, when you pick up a sacred book and read the stories in there some are pretty damn extreme, but like I've said in other posts, I see it as a historical document.

The same can be said about a lot of political ideologies, how socialism for one (which is a great concept theoretically) eventually got twisted into Communism, and well, you know how history unfolded with that. Generally, it's always one person, or a group that eventually gives a bad name to something that may have been great.

As for God, shit, at that point it's what you feel most confortable with I guess. If you believe in a God, and you don't live your life to the fullest because of it, then I feel something is wrong, but I know a lot of people that believe in a divine power and it doesn't stop them from going out and getting what they want in life. Their thought process is pretty much... "When I die, if there's a God or not, I still lived my life the way I wanted to live it" which is cool by me.

To each their own, if they don't stop social progress and don't hurt anyone, believe in fanged vaginas if you'd like, but I wouldn't like it if that existed, I'd be a target, I gots a meaty penis :(

Not really. We're basically flipping off the majority of our existing fanbase with the new album we're recording anyway as there won't be any punjabi vocals on there, it's an all English mainstream pop album.

Quite honestly, I couldn't care less if we lost every single fan we already have. Artistically this is the only thing we want to do. Fuck making another niche desi album, we've conquered that scene and have no interest in it any more. All the desi media in the UK are saying 'Sugarless' is the song of the year, or one of the songs of the year, so we're going out on a high note and embracing a new chapter.
