The Rose That Grew From Concrete II?

I saw on mtv that there will be only one tupac album left.

afeni said that there will be no more singles from LTTG, one spoken word album this year, and the final album next.

does this mean that another collection of poems will resurface?

what yall think.

The Rose That Grew From Concrete shits on all the posthomous Tupac releases in comparsion to the effort and money put into it.

Look at the people and talent involved in that project and imagine if they were involved in Better Dayz for example. Im sick of the Outlawz only having themselves featured on songs or people they can get something in return from like Nas.

Look at some of the people on The Rose:

Run from Run DMC, Mos Def, Dead Prez, Q-Tip, Pharcyde, Mac Mall, Quincy Jones and QD3, they even got non music people like Nikki Giovanni and Danny Glover. There was A LOT of time and effort put into this project and it comes off as a real tribute to Pac.

I wish they would take the same effort and time with all the projects, Id love to see some of the above people and other big names involved in Pac albums to really make them the best that they can be, instead of always relying on in house people and the usual cast of features.

Imagin if they got Talib Kweli or Mos Def on a song with Pac.

The whole community should embrace Pac albums as something special and all put their best effort into the music. I am sure A LOT of artists out there would like to jump on a good song with Pac.

Instead we get remix albums and people like Trick Daddy put in and Nas put in only because Nas pushed a single for the CD. Now we get 50 Cent mix himself in, or Ja takes a verse. Never really quality artists with the same message as Pac, only hype people that are whilling to pay to get on or can give something in return to help sales.

Im really starting to lose hope that even Amaru is looking to make the best possible album for PAC. They are just flooding the music out at average levels with the Outlawz all over it trying to get another jump start to their career which never really happens.

If they actually cared about the music they would put quality people into the project, and leave people like Kadafi and Fatal in.

Hopefully before the left over music runs out we will finnally be given a proper tribute to Pac with one of his albums.

Hopefully.

Now I know I might get a little hate for this.........but I think one track on The Rose That Grew From Concrete II should have DMX reciting one of Pac's poems. DMX is really nice at doing that type of thing, if you've heard his albums before...take another listen to the "Prayers". I for one would love to see that if they're gonna get guests to recite Pac's work. Mos Def and Dead Prez were good on the last one. We need more people like that...get Pharoahe Monch up on there, he would make a Pac poem sound crazy.
not gonna happen.
first, i dont think he'll be invited... second, if he were he'd prob refuse it.

Id like to see MC Hammer on there after hearing his recital of Unconditional Love. His rendition at the Hip Hop Honours on VH1 was very powerful, which caught me off guard as I would not have picked him as an artist to make a profound impact like that.

And I hope the 'one more real pac album left' turns out to be bullshit.
