In September, for the 9th anniversary of his death, Jacqueline met Tupac’s friends and collaborators to get closer to the private person he was and the hugely successful and influential artist he became. She investigates his legacy, justifies his place in hip hop history and uncovers whether his death, rather than just his music, has heightened his reputation and relevance within hip hop.
