The intro .....

In today's music news: the ever controversial Tupac Shakur has
just released another album under the alias Makaveli......Makaveli's verbal assault on Mobb Sleep, Notorius P.I.G., and several other New York rappers
Jay-Z, from "Hawaiian Sophie" fame, Big Little whatever
and several other corny sounding motherfuckers
are understandably shaken up by this release.

I was wondering if Pac knew about this intro/made the intro himself or was it put after?

I don't know. It seems unlikely because they said "Mr. Shakur wasn't available for comment..." (or something to that effect) which means he was probably gone when they made the intro.

I believe in the interview in XXL about the album, they say something about that they did the intro and then Pac added his own little touches to it.

In Conclusion: Yes, he knew about the intro.

Deducing this information from the XXL article, the OG had a different bassline, and Pac wanted the producer (Darryl Harper) to change it to one similar to "Uptown Anthem" by Naughty By Nature, but I would guess that this wasn't done until after the song was recorded in full since in the article, Darryl Harper said that he didn't know how the song went so he went out and bought the CD, presumably a few days later.
