Still I Rise Vs. Pac's Life; the end of an era

I am more disapointed with Pac's Life than LTTG. However I think Pac's Life is marginally better than LTTG.

This will be the first Pac album I don't buy. I could stand Loyal to the Game, fucking with the tempo Pac's lyrics was a musical sin but the beats weren't horrible attempts at the modern sound. More than half the tracks were great despite alterations to Pac's voice.

Pac's life sounds cheap. If they remixed the tracks with quality producers I wouldn't mind so much but LT Hutton and Swizz make certified wackness. The album is shit because it uses cheap production that does its best to imitate pop trends. It's a fucking disgrace. I knew it would be when I saw the production list.

I have the feeling the album will struggle to touch gold. Rap music is at a low and Pac's loyal fan base (the envy of every rapper) are beginning to turn their backs because the music being put out under his name is shit.

Amaru are going to get the shock of their lives when they see the first week sales, and hopefully the only effort they put into the next album is clearing the samples used in OG songs.

Makaveli and Still I Rise are the only albums since Pac's passing that I can let play right through an not skip track(s).

I know there are tracks on SIR that have been remixed and Fatal was removed off a lot of them. But it is still a good and respectful album.

I have lost a lot of Respect for Amaru over the last few years for their handling of Tupac's music legacy he left behind, An become more and more disappointed with every release.
