I started university today and I already skipped my 1st class by mistake. It pisses me off. I am so retarded. Seriously my alarm didn't ring so now I am home, my class starts in 15 min but it actually takes me at least one hour to get there. I have no clue how it works to reach teachers and what not. I just realized on my class schedule it says teacher to be announced. I also just realized my 1st class tomorrow the class room hasn't been announced yet.

I am pissed.

I would just talk to the instructor the next time you attend class. Let them know what happened and that you know it was your fault etc. They will probably be cool about it, most of them are in my experience, as long as you know where the fault belongs.

Yeah. I guess so. I hope I won't have missed much. It's a con (you know there are labs, lecture, that one on the schedule it's written con) and I don't know what a con is except it lasts for 1 hour an 15 min.

And how the hell tomorrow am I supposed to find out where my class is when the class room is tba and the teacher is tba. Seriously!!

Don't worry first class of first year is pretty much getting the course info, the teacher telling you that if you cheat they'll kill you and then kick you out of uni, and the teacher telling you that if you plagiarise they'll kill you and then kick you outta uni. Teachers usually handout the course info for the first 2 weeks of classes anyway. So if you wanna live just don't cheat or plagiarise.

Oh and since you're already late i'd recommend not posting about it on streethop till you get home

Well, today wasn't my first day, but I managed to miss three classes in one fell swoop because I too overslept. Missed Physics at 8, Chemistry at 11 and Calculus at 12:30 and now I feel like shit. I haven't been to chemistry since the first day of class about two weeks to this day, havent been to biology also two weeks and one day to this day, and calculus I just went last Friday for a quiz. So....I feel shittier than you probably because I don't know if my chem teacher has started assigning homework online which I don't know about or if my biology teacher has been springing pop quizzes on the class like she said she would.

Sucks. I accidentally missed my first quiz in this class i'm taking. I had until Sunday at midnight, got online at 12:05 and f'n missed it. Pissed me off

Usually TBA teachers are actually known, but they are kept as TBA because most students may know their reputation as a tough grader or un-organized teacher.

usually.. well in my uni anyway.. the first lecture is just made up of them going through what the class will be about and the structure.. how you will be assessed. anywho, it's an introductory thing..
