Anyone ever experience a Sonic Boom?

That shit was fucking tight but scary as hell!

I had just got back from picking up my nieces and lil bro from the baby sitter and we entered, what we thought was an empty house.

Anyway, as soon as we enter we hear this LOUD boom and it sounded like it came from upstairs.

I immediately got into this protection mode and told my family to stay down and gave them the phone. I went to go fight whoever was breaking into the house or leaving it.

I found no one...

I later realized it was a Sonic Boom.

Yeah sonic booms are kinda cool. Last time I experienced one was in 1995 when one of the space shuttles couldn't land in Florida for some reason and they had to land in California.

Everything shook, everyone thought it was an earthquake.

i feel for you son, i had a very similar experience to you, except it was in my home and at my cousins house, i was always last to play. my brother and my elder cousin would always play first and play many games and me and my younger cousin were waiting, anticipating to get hold of those controllers and start playing which didnt happen until it was just before dinner. we played about one game and then we were called up and told we've been playing for hours and we should come and eat

^we drilled holes in our quarters and put string and pulled it back.

fucking rookies.

anyway,

According to local reports, the boom is believed to have come from military aircraft, with the sound amplified by atmospheric conditions.

A military aircraft training area is located off the coast of San Diego.

It's weird, even though we have a training area here, it's never been THAT bad, ever.

But didnt the military deny any activity at the time? Thats what I read on the news sites.

Unregistered training flights are a possibility. They're not gonna come out and say they were testing something super secret.
