I wanna hear that Sha Money XL track, he's a pretty dope producer...

Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, T.I., Young Buck, Ashanti, Lil' Scrappy, Carl Thomas, Keyshia Cole, Outlawz, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Big Skye, Papoose and others
Thats a lot of damn features! Looks like its going to be 2Pac Duets :fury:

Who's to say he didn't or wouldnt work with eminem? Wasn't tupac the one who has done work with Madonna and Alanis Morisette while alive? Listen to Life is a Traffic Jam on Gridlock'd soundtrack... I mean he was into Don McClean, Dionne Farris, Vincent Van Gogh, he even took ballet as a youngster.. 2pac was definitely an eclectic person, so you never really know...
The thing is, those mentioned who Pac allegedly worked with were talented at what they do, and that's what they did with Pac. I'm not saying that Pac NEVER would've been willing to record a song with Eminem rapping, had Pac never died (and Eminem still blown up, whether through Dre or someone else), and I don't think anyone else is either; I think what people are saying is that Eminem sucks as a producer 75% of the time, and Pac probably wouldn't have spit on an Eminem beat and released it as is. While Pac was always willing to work with a wide variety of artists in the hip-hop and R&B genres, I don't see him working with people and having them do things that they suck at knowingly. He did verses alongside a lot of rappers, but if they decided to make beats and sucked at it, would he spit on those same rappers' beats? Probably not. If you think back to some of the older QDIII interviews, he said that he would just bring pre-recorded beats and play them for Pac, and Pac would pick the ones he wanted; he didn't just rap over every beat handed to him, even though he was writing lyrics nonstop. And I'm sure it was like that for other beat suppliers as well. He took only the potentially dope shit and rapped over it.

Yes, Pac was into a lot of those other non-rap artists you named, and he was definitely open to a lot of different artforms; but it's not like he worked with them or would have worked with them.

lol... i have to agree with u on that one... also, everything u posted in that last reply was well said... i think em can put out good production some times... i just dont dig it on the whole... but 2pac can also bring out the best in others... the thing some people 4 get is that tupac cant go into the studio to re-record for producers...

like i think it was an innovative idea to put pac and elton john on a track together... and it was a good song, except for pacs vocals do sound high pitch and the video was pretty cheaply done... however, if u listen to eminems albums, eminem does the same shit to his vocals... so thats just part of his style that people dont want done on pacs...

still, im sure afeni and everyone at amaru are trying their best... we all have to remember that Fe is a former black panther/activist... not an entertainer/music producer... at any rate, hopefully Pac's Life will have a lil something for everyone...

btw, does anyone know what happened to the track with Alanis Morisette? dang...im still waitin on the One Nation album and Thug Life volume 2... why call it thug life volume one, when theres like never going to be a volume 2?

I didn't say he wouldnt work with eminem. I meant it would have been highly unlikely he wudda let him produce his whole album.
