I haven't seen a news post on Streethop.com since january. I've been wondering for years why Mike has been paying for this shit. He doesn't even post here. If he does still feel an inclination to pay, it must because he feels sorry for what he'd be taking away. I don't know how he finances this, but... How much longer do you think the board is gonna be around?
Let's face it. When Hitemup.com got hacked, the problem was getting the domain back and everything. Once they did, the problem was standing out on the scene. And as for Streethop, several attempts to pick up more news posters and updating the site's design and focus haven't changed much. Today, I feel as if though the world is just so different. Message boards don't exist the way they used to. People have been saying the board is dying so many times over so many years, and I'm not saying it's dying, I'm just saying that we don't use technology and the internet the way we used to. That said, there's maybe some things to be said about the fact that some of us have spent countless hours on this site. The thought of it disappearing, which is inevitable, just saddens me. Should we try and make some official facebook and google+ groups to keep the ball rolling? For example, I'll be going to the US one day, and when I do, it'd be funny to meet some people. I already got them on my friends list, so the idea with the groups is more in the spirit of having something common to call "Streethop"
...Or just meh?
