should amaru or deathrow create an "odds and sods" compilation.

I think it would be a good idea for the fans and the record labels if they released an odds and sods album. An odds and sods album is an album with b-sides, rarities, and unreleased or demo songs. a lot of popular musicians have done so, usually to combat bootlegging but in this case not only would it combat bootlegging but it would make amaru a lot of money and it would make the fans happy. I highly doubt we will get one from amaru or deathrow for that matter, but you never know with deathrow. what's your opionion?

R U Still Down was the closest thing to that, since Definition of a Thug Nigga was on the Poetic Justice soundtrack (right?) and I Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto was a B-side for a single from Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... if I remember correctly.

It would definitely be a good idea, but I'm not sure how much like an "odds and sods" compilation it would be. Besides unreleased songs, the only rare songs would be the random remixes (from the pre-Death Row singles, and they probably wouldn't make it on such an album), soundtrack appearances, and guest appearances (but money would be owed to whoever is the main artist of the track).

I'll buy it, just keep Eminem the hell away from it.

Personally, I think the natural progression of things is going to be something like eventually, after Death Row goes through the sherade of signing a few more artists they never release albums for, the feds raid the Beverly hills offices again and the pending lawsuits eventually end, Death Row Records will be so tarnished and financially crippled Suge will end up selling either the entire, or majority, of the labels catalog and rights to anyone who’ll pay.
Whoever that is will probably release a lot of the old [DR]stuff, in the form of greatest hits or the modern day “Deluxe Edition” albums you see that feature the original albums digitally remastered and a second (sometimes 3rd) disc of b-sides, outtakes, extended/alternate versions, instruments etc. Its easy money for them, there’s little in the way of production costs and the material has already proven itself to sell. Today in the music industry it’s a pretty common thing to see especially with any classic album (something Death Row has no shortage of).
Then eventually I bet Afeni will try to sell off her stock in Tupac’s music for a ridiculously big payout (which she wont get), probably to someone stupid like Interscope. THEN you are going to see a lot of this 2pac stuff come out. Once Afeni’s finally out your going to see an onslaught of tupac reissues and deluxe editions and Japanese editions you name it. Its happening right now in the industry with a lot of artists and groups who’s rights get sold on and sold on and sold on until they have virtually no say in what happens with it and the big companies own the stuff in full. And once they get control its over, or in our case just begins J

I agree absolutely. I doubt there will ever be a "final" tupac album.
