how can you call the album edited when you leave words like shit, bitch made niggaz, thug nigga, on 2pac's verse in Black Jesuz him saying nigga is all intact

i only bought this album because of the different outro on As the World Turns, but this is bad because if someone else bought this for their child or someone who doesnt want to hear the profaneity, they will be very surprised and upset!!! beware!

good lookin out, but i dont buy edited copies. this shit seems funny everytime you got the greatest rapper of all time on a cd which aint even been mixed correctly, maybe if they had spended more time max 10 minutes and get producers who understood english as there first language the cd would be classic like its meant to be.

yeah, its nothing major just that they took out 2pac screaming in the background and napoleon's talking in the outro...you just hear 2pac and the chorus in the end...the instrumental sounds more mellow, imo

they do something similar in edited version for Letter 2 My Unborn...in the outro they take out the female chorus when 2pac is talking

lol oh btw has anyone got all eyez on me edited (digitally remastered) and hear how much was edited on the phone sex for whatz ya phone # lol

same thing with the word Shit on Greatest Hits

for example, on hail mary, it was "the (edit) we dont got be the shit we gotta take", and on troublesome they left in "undercover agents die by the random shot". talk about half-assed editing

i bought it because i heard it had the radio/video version of how do u want it

i have MAJOR problems with that album version

you would think that because many of the tracks on there had radio changed lyrics version (and were videos) that those versions would be on the edited. instead they just take out or reverse the cursing for those like how long will they mourn me i aint mad at cha to live & die in LA and they DESTROYED hit em up

they even messsed up 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted "mmmh it feels good cause they got me on the run"

at least they didnt put Life Goes On tha Releast version on there

shit-never edited out on clean cd's
bitch-never edited out either, i hear it all the time on the radio also. but not rap only other genres
nigga-not a swear word, should never get edited out. if you think its bad for a kid to hear nigga then you got a problem

What you guys talkin bout Nigga is never edited. I hear on tv in music videos and all over the radio. I sorta think it depends on who its is and the context you use it in. When i was on the bus Still Ballin was on the radio on the bus and almost everyword In Pac's verse was bleeped out or reversed. Even simple ass words were edited. I mean its like some one just destroyed that song or like a scratched cd.

Just throwing this out of nowhere. But the edited version of the R U Still Down has instead of the swear words being blanked out, they are replaced and dubbed by other words.

whats the difference in the outro on as the world turns
its subtle just that you hear more of the piano and instrumental in the end because they remove some 2pac and Napolean vocals...i had wanted to post a clip to that but someone here advised me that the back says "warning: unauthorized reproduction of this recording is prohibited by Federal law and subject to criminal prosection. 0694904172."
