Secretz of War OG + Kurupt question

#1
Why does Secretz of War OG begin with a claim that Spice-1 is in this motherfucker? He doesn't rap on the track...did he produce it? I'm guessing no. Did he get a shout out just for being present in the studio?

Does anyone know what DeathRow-era songs Kurupt produced? Obviously the Tattoo Tearz OG, but did he also do Thug Nigga? He is referenced at the beginning of Thug Nigga for seemingly no reason, can it be assumed he produced that? I think I remember reading someone suggest Kurupt produced Time After Time (or Worldwide Stampede)? I've also noticed he gets a "Wassup Kurupt" in the outro of Secretz of War OG...mean anything or just ramble?

goodie mob get's a shot out in the beginning of good life.we're they supposed to be on that song or something?????
Actually, I rememeber seeing in the DVD with the Can Am Studio footage, Goodie Mob was chilling in the studio when Pac was recording Hit Em Up/Good Life.

I had never realized they got a shout out in Good Life. I just played it though and you can hear Pac faintly say "Goodie Mob in this bitch". Nice find.

Both Tattoo Tearz and Thug Nigga were made for One Nation so it's possible that Thug Nigga's produced by Kurupt. Secretz Of War is produced by Johnny J.

The Spice-1 and Goodie Mob shouts are there because they were present in the studio at the time of recording.

read my post below.

When Fatal said that Kurupt was "on" one version of Secretz of War, do you think he meant that Kurupt was on there just delivering a "bitch" there? Or could he have meant that Kurupt dropped a verse on a version of Secretz of War?

I'd love to hear that extra Pac verse from Secretz of War in good quality. Makes you wonder if it stems from this Kurupt version?

Yes he meant kurupt was there delivering one line to the song. No Kurupit did not rap a verse on it.

The first oG of secretz of war had the "rule 1... verse." Pac re-recorded the song with the "As I approach the scene..." verse. Two vresions of Secretz of war remain unreleased. The true OG with the rules verse, and the second OG with the same pac verse as retail.

There's also the alternate Secretz Of War OG.

Am I the only one to ever find it somewhat odd that on a track called Secretz of War, Tupac and the Outlawz reveal absolutely no secrets of war? The "As I approach the scene" verse is just a typical macho-death-row-thug-nigga Pac verse (and I do love the verse quite a bit, just saying). He isn't talking about secrets or anything. The "Rule 1.." verse would be more fitting for the song since it actually attempts to give war tips to the listener.

And yes I realize this post is very silly, just saying.

If they revealed the secrets of war, then they wouldn't be secrets anymore, now would they :p Perhaps he's just saying that the secrets are in his arsenal and what makes him so powerful with his words.

if people who would pay a lot for it can't seem to get it, my guess is a leecher who searches limewire for it won't either.

blame the outlawz, they're the ones who chose to release that verse over the actual secret-giving verse

Does this post imply that even you don't have that verse in CDQ? Or are you saying that you aren't accepting large offers for it?

If you don't have the verse in CDQ, do you have any idea how that verse leaked? I always assumed most leaks emanated from you and your associates.
