Rose That Grew From Concrete

Inside the cover (I dont have it with me at the moment) it says: (along the lines of) "Tupac was murdered at the age of 25, a violent homage to his powerfull lyrics". Surely no-one credits someones talent with 'violent homage'. I'd like to slap whoever wrote that.

Wouldn't you? if someone offered to pay you back with 'violent homage.' The choice of words make it sound like his murder was a celebration (reward) of his achievements. That doesnt sound right.

I have the book right here, but i cant see the part you are making reference to...

Anyway, it doesnt seem to be a strage thing to say, but does it really deserve a slap?

It says: "His death was tragic - a Violent Homage to the power of his voice." This is the poetry book NOT the album. Yes it does deserve a slap, you would bust first.

There is a cover, like on most hardback books, that folds around the edges. Its on that foldy bit that it has it. It does on mine anyway

the book jacket? where if you take it off there's no price to the book and someone can sell it as stolen property?

It did strike as a bit odd it being there, but it doesn't have who wrote it from what I can see. I guess Afeni would have got the last say on something like this.
