Does anyone here have any sort of recurring dreams and wish to contribute to this thread by maybe talking about them and explaining what happened and what they could mean?

i mean, sometimes i have the same dream on a number of occassions. not so frequently, but rather like maybe once or twice a year. sometimes even three times i'd say.

for example, i dream about going back to my old house and then going for a walk in the park trying to find my way around and go back home later on. (ive been in my house since nov 98) so nearly 10 years now. i have a lot of memories from 10+ years ago from when i was little.

also ones about flying on a plane and the plane is about to crash. im not scared of heights, but i think ive developed a slight fear of flying now with all the terrorism going on, crazy people and just pilots making errors.

i cant remember myself having the same dreams over and over...but i have had dreams many times where everything is connected. like the same person or the presence of that person is incorporated in some way in my dreams to remind me of them. it used to happen so often that i just learned to accept it for what it is...i think i know what it means but i'm ignoring it cuz there are things more important right now.

i don' really want to elaborate..so ur stuck with this...

i find it quite an interesting topic. dreams actually represent one's feelings and experiences in a visual manner. funny how it feels so real like you;re actually there.

e.g. if anyones had that dream where they feel they are falling down. it gives you that adrenaline rush that you would get, like a shock.

i was told it was to do with when you forget to breathe (i know breathing is involuntary and we dont need to think about breathing), but because we stop breathing for a while and we begin to panic in our sleep.

Ok, i first entered you other thread and i thought about making this kind of statement. Then i refrained from it. But now that i see this one...

Are you stupid? Just make one post instead of 2, k? You know there is the possibility of editing it?!!! Holy crap...

does it really bother you that much? sorry for any inconvenience. didnt realise it would cause any.

i just thought that maybe it would be easier to read smaller sections of writing rather than a whole post full of writing.

but from now on, that's what i'll do. deal?

I used to have a recurring nightmare where a wearwolf would kill my family. Each time it would be a different senario, and each time I would try something different to stop the enevitable from happening. I blame the goosbumps series.

Yeah.. I have fucked up dreams.

i remember stred had a dream he was licking this girls vagina and she turned into a werewolf and his tongue got caught in her vagina and she scratched the shit out of his head. this is no joke.

i always had dreams about a man with a shovel who died along time ago and was buried in my backyard, and he would dig himself out of his grave and come to get me. eveytime during the dream i would look out the window and there would be a flash of lightning and i would briefly see him standing there covered in dirt with an evil grin on his face.

I have dreams about my teeth constantly. I used to have dreams about ghosts. When I was younger I had dreams about animals chasing me lol. When I'm stressed I have the WORST dreams...I wake up and my heart is pounding like I just ran a marathon.

I hate people who try to read too much into recurring dreams on a paranormal level. If it's about figuring out what's lurking on your subconscious, fine, but anything prophetic-like is moronic. Yeah I get it, you really did have a dream about something that really did happen. I'm convinced.

within the last year i had a dream about being in town, going to college and when it was time to go home the weather changed.

there were cyclones and tornadoes causing carnage and destroying the whole city. you could see all the cyclones from miles away. they were getting closer and closer causing damage nearer to out area.

we tried to fee and/or hide.

last night. i had a similar dream but not the same. it was about the cyclones. except this time i was on the road i live on and not at college. i could see the tornadoes from far out on the edge of the city and it was only a matter of time before they closed in on us, casuing damage.

wierd dream, but it was exciting for the fact that it was dangerous.

Right now, I only sleep out of necessity. My mind is too active to sleep. Even when I sleep I wake up with the same things on my mind. Waking is like an exercise routine for my mind, remembering past/recent dreams/events. Dreams are subjective, and reality is objective. I have a dream, and it ended when the likes of me woke up.
