The album was just a collection of pre deathrow songs that never made albums. Most of the songs were made to be on the maw album and some were for the thug life album. Rustilldown was a double cd and there is no way pac would have released a double cd pre deathrow because there wasnt a demand for it.

There wasn't a demand for it? No one even knew about it.

Back in 93 or 94 when those songs were made nobody was checkin for a double album from any rapper. I think that the magority of those songs was the first maw album that pac didnt relese because he felt like biggie copied him.

the whole double album thing was made cause he had just got out of prison just got shot and just dropped a platnum selling album on the heels of 2 succesful movies the world was anxiouse to hear what pac had to say, and deathrow had enuff money and star power to back the project

back in 93-94 he was just another hot rapper from NY.

I think you got your info wrong on the original R U Still Down that Pac wanted to release whilst alive. In his Death Row contract it shows 3 albums to be released including R U Still Down, I want info on this album not the one Amaru released, unless its the same. Someone with knowledge has to drop info on this not someone guessin, no offense man.

rizzle said it was DR producers remixing MATW/MATW era tracks he re-recorded for a DR CD, and thats widely accepted but i cant give a 100% answer.

yea thats what i heard too .. dre was supposed to do the remixin .... but the idea was prolly scrapped when dre left death row

he also had an album called out on bail planned, i guess it was supposed to come after thuglife but it couldnt have been MATW because MATW was originally called crucify.

No, the albums that fulfilled Tupac's contract were All Eyez On Me and Makaveli. All Eyez On Me counted as two albums because it was a double disc. That was all he needed and planned to do to get out of the Row.

look at Pacs death row contract.
Quote '1.5 million for publishing, 500,000 due upon recieving
R U Still Down 500,000 due upon
completion of America's Euthanasia' 500,000 due
upon recieving untitled final album'
Americas Euthanasia became All Eyez On Me
Untitled Final album became Makaveli and R U Still Down got scrapped

I was under the impression that "Out On Bail" was the original title for Thug Life Vol. 1. On the Papa'z song single, it mentions Out on Bail to be released by Thug Life in Spring '94, but thug life vol. 1 wasn't released until late '94.

it could quite possibly be thuglife as well considering cradle to the grave was a track for out on bail but it was on thuglife so it makes sense.

heres the cover art i got it over at makaveli.com. not totally sure about its legitamacy but it seems real. it's accepted as real anyways. would not surprise me if it is fake. soem things make it seem fake some make it seem real. I've seen a E-made colorized version, you can see pac better he has headphones on in case you can't tell.
