Novakane comes to mind.
But they mention in the song that their words were actually from 2pac himself. So it's not like they're biting or betraying him or anything. I think Pac didn't even record those verses which is probably why they used them as a tribute. :thumb:

Finally a straight answer. Are you positive about that?

Yeah everyone knows he was born in New York but for some reason no one was sure what borough. Three different birthplaces are listed all over the internet and those are Brooklyn, Harlem and the Bronx. According to Dante it was Brooklyn and since hes rarely wrong about this type of information I'm gonna believe it.
lol yall be confusin me with this shyt. from, hospital, no exact address of where because..they never had a set home?4
Pac's from New york

He was born (HOSPITAL): borough of manhattan (n harlem)
LIVED: all over

that's bout as acurate u can get. and pac claimed all of the places too. Lmao the Hospital part, is in resurrection even 4 everybody (which also show im guesin 1st address; and just bronx & harlem shots while talkin about the begginin.........)
Hospital was 'flower hospital....

EDIT: plus after lookin that up,that's now terence cardinal cooke hcc :thumb:

the demo version i have heard of the album has a TON more disses, and the disses are MUCH more violent at that. it also did not have any interludes.
This intrigues me. Regarding the rough drafts of the released tracks, obviously they were a lot more graphic... so were they edited with different words for the retail release or were they completely scrapped? And why? It's just odd because I always felt that the Makaveli album was just so uncensored, and now I find out that it wasn't as bloodthirsty as I thought. Would you care to elaborate a bit? There are just so many questions that result from that one answer alone... hehe

death threats and placing bounties on certain individuals' lives.

That's one of the few things I like about Suge: While Interscope censored Pac and took out death threats, etc. from his music, Suge just lets him speak his mind and Makaveli is just so raw and shows that...guess thats where the slogan on the Makaveli poster "...speaks his mind" derives from.

But if some of the Makaveli OG's were edited to remove disses, wouldn't that have been due to Suge, not Interscope?

I guess releasing an album full of disses once Pac was dead and his enemies were still alive would have been pretty pointless, it would have been more sad than threatening.

True, if pac wouldnt have went to vegas, or vegas would have been a month and a half or so later. after the november 5th release (probably have been earlier if he was alive.) then he would have destroyed badboy nas and everything else.

It isn't totally clear if Pac went back in the studio and changed it, or if it was someone else who had it altered after his death. Based on Dante saying that the demo version was a lot more violent and the fact that the retail version feels "complete" (as if it contained tracks in their entirety and nothing was cut out), I think maybe Pac changed them and left behind updated full tracks, otherwise we'd have shorter versions of songs (like Bomb First and Against All Odds) or blanked-out lyrics, but everything is full-length and unedited.

That is true, but I think it might also have left an aura somewhat different... maybe one of those "you're lucky I'm dead otherwise I'd murder your ass" type of vibes.
