Dre may contribute because it's Pac's final album and many will be doing so out of sheer respect for the man's legacy. In any normal circumstances however it'd be highly unlikely that Dre would contribute.

I just remember hearing different stories, I remember one of the Outlawz was talking about it in XXL, and it seemed like they squashed it (and if I recall correctly, I think they made it sound like Pac was going to take "Against All Odds" off of the album), whereas Snoop's interview that was posted online made it seem like Pac was just punking Nas the whole time and was basically telling him that there is a song about Nas on the Makaveli album, and if Nas didn't make a reply and "ain't no love lost," then Pac would just drop it. But regardless, I always think back to the interview where Pac said this:

"The only time I won't rush a motherfucker is because he straight-up told me he got respect for me, he don't want no drama, 'cause I ain't no bully. I'm not just gonna beat no motherfucker up 'cause the crowd wanna see it. You know what I mean? If you don't see me rushin' him, that's 'cause they bowed down."

...and that seems to be what happened with Nas.

Either way, i think 2pac's legacy is being fucked up enough, so again i would like 2 see Dre and Pac at least on 5 tracks (Dre producing of course)...i personally think that would be the shit...fuck it put Snoop, and pac on a track and have dre produce that shit...instant classic . The best thing i can think of for the album is just not Eminem or G-Unot anywhere on this supposed last album :thumb:

eminem has shown he can make classic beats like renegade, and some hot beats he did for himself... he just spends more time and wants things better when it concerns himself, or he is paid big.
however the whole 15 beats in 3 days, however much it is true, i am pretty sure that i am right about my speculation - that em had those beats already, working on them in his spare time prior to being in contact with amaru. 3 days is enough to customise them for the acapellas he was given. this is what nearly every producer does, noone makes beats when asked, they produce the base of the beats all the time and build up a library and customise and perfect the beats when working with the material to be mixed.
in the 3 days, eminem did not produce all the tracks from scratch, and if he did, i say the mediocrity of the beats speaks louder than the time it took to make them.
