Macs = waste of money imo
+ nothing works on them and they are much much weaker for their value than a pc.

Win XP owns any Apple system ever made :thumb:

lmao, those are funny as hell DP. I have always used PCs but I wouldn't mind having a MAC. The only problem is they are way over priced when I could build a sick ass PC for cheaper. I like the MAC operating system. What model did you get, Syn?

I have never owned a Mac. I own a Windows machine and Linux machine because I worked as a network tech. But i've used a mac regulary when i did audio and video work at college, and they are better, they work faster. Sure Mac's crash, everything with a cpu will crash, but they crash less than IBMs (lol i cant believe I called a PC an IBM), they are more reliable and everything is much more easier to use. The myth about things not working on Mac is bullshit, most PC compatible software is Mac compatible and if its not, it can be emulated, and if you are too lazy for that, there is plenty of freeware ports of regular pc software.

thats not true man, i've played plenty of games on mac. Unreal Tournament, Need for Speed games, Shit Im pretty sure I saw a Mac version of Halo.
If few of them work it doesn't mean that most work.
Also they work like shit. for the cheapest Mac out there I could get a core 2 duo pc with 4gig of ram and a 8800GT while the same Mac couldn't handle even Fifa 2008 (considering it would work on it)

I wish people would just start hacking Macs so people would shut up. I guess they don't want to waste their time. Then we can just hear how much cleaner cuter whatever you want to call it Macs are.

I wouldn't waste money on the actual price. Mines was only $850 and come with a load of software.

Why are you so angry? Not a healthy way to live life. If you're this pissed because I got a new computer... I'd hate to see how you react when something really goes wrong in your life.

Angry? I'm merely commenting more on to what eric said.

I'd hate to see you come up with a thought without an assumption... don't get mad I just poke back.

I just moved to Toronto for temp work and I only brought my macbook with me since my PC doesn't have wireless and I miss my PC so much. I don't really like the interface of Mac, it's too flashy and not too productive. Also I had to download a program for my mac to charge my blackberry?! Wtf my PC didn't need to do that!

I honestly can't use Macs. They do look clean, neat and whatnot. The only time I used one it was to show my power point presentation but the system crashed and it took me an hour to figure out how to make the power point presentation work because it didn't wanna save on the desktop. It made me do a huge detour for nothing.

Basically I find PCs easier to work with. Of course I will never put in doubt that Macs are great computers when it comes to graphics and such.

it all depends on what you are using it for. there are certain things i wouldn't use a mac for and there are certain things i would not use a pc for.

i would never run a professional recording studio environment with a pc - except for bedroom setups....anything more than that and a Mac is essential. Same for video and graphic editing suites.
