if remixing had never happened, and all the songs were released in original form (or mixed and mastered before release) you would still find mediocre tracks. imo, there are a lot of mediocre tupac tracks that aren't particularly good compared to others. it is a human flaw to always complain about something no matter how it's done, and you can bet your german ass that someone would have had something to say about the originals if they got put out too.
i think double albums are better than single albums because they feel fresh for a longer time than a single lp does. more tracks, more to discover. single lps or not, there will be remixes anyway, so this is as good as it gets. would you rather have them spare the.. mediocre tracks for later and release all the good ones first?
