Pac's Life feat Snoop Dogg & Zola....

It's just been confirmed thanks to 221 on mrmakaveli.net

.......as well as Big syke himself.

:thumb: Sounds like it could be dope. I love that Pac verse.

People in that thread talk about the Snoop / Pac track being Street Life which it isn't as it turns out.

Anyway, I just thought the late breaking confirmation was pretty important and since it was different from what many of us thought -- I'd drop the news here in this thread.

"I read it wrong, thanks for the update."

No problem yo...I'm just spreading the word over here.

I'm also curious what people think about the news.

im abit worried with what Zola can give, im in South Africa and the was a time when he was in his prime in South Africa, he was among the hightest selling artists in SA but nowadayz he is comming up with repetative sh*t.......hope he does some cool background sh*t instead a full out verse......which will probably be in Zulu or Xhosa

Some of ya'll are getting it twisted I didnt say its a single I didnt even say its on the next Pac album..... I think this one gonna be on the tribute album hence Its pacs life and probably snoop drops a tribute verse to 2pac.

Dont get it twisted and I dont wanna see any more fucking arguing here. This site was created to stop beefs, if thats what you want stick at the other site.

That's stupid. You see that's what I hate about Amaru. They keep fixing things that's not broken and sometimes leaving the broke shattered. The OG was fine. All it needed was a CDQ version. They could've used the energy they spent on this song on an og pac song that actually needed help. I could understand if the sample didn't go through, but what's the point of adding Snoop Dogg and another artists to a song which is like a summary of his life? Doesn't make sense to me.

Militant, can you confirm any of this? Remember you haven't leaked any details or won't. You're just giving a yes, meaning true or no meaning not true.

It's not the single, as for the track itself, I can't confirm whether it's true or not, this wasn't one of the tracks I heard. I would hope it's not true though, since I have a feeling they would ruin it by failing to clear the Prince sample which is the focal point of the song and hook. If they haven't cleared the sample, I'd rather it remained unreleased. Unless they did a REALLY good job with the remix, which is the only thing that saved another track I heard where they didnt clear the original sample and changed the focal point of the song.

"street life or pacs life, which song is this about?"

It's about Pac's Life BankRobber. 221 gave the news that Zola and Snoop are appearing on that track.

"why does the thread title mention it's the single, he never said it was the single"

What thread title says that?

"its MrMakaveli.net, get the url right"

I fixed that pretty quick last night, hope you didn't lose too much sleep over it though.

I see what your saying...why can't they clear that sample from Prince I wonder? Be great if they could.

Prince is a bit funny about sampling these days, since his religious conversion to Jehovah's Witness in 2001.

But I don't see any reason why he wouldnt clear it if they paid him what he wanted, however Amaru have been cheap when it comes to clearing samples. They might not have wanted to pay him.

If it's not cleared, I'd blame Amaru more than Prince.

that's kind of disappointing in a way, actually scratch that...that's extremely devastating. i was still holding out hope that some where Amaru had a full version of that song, that some how Pac didn't just record one verse and a chorus, this had been a dream of mine for the past 8 years....unfortunately that dream has now dissipated.

when i first heard "Pac's Life" it instantly became an all time favorite,a 2pac classic in my book. release after release it was no where to be seen, and that fact alone gave me the inkling that maybe they where saving the best for last. i allways thought that "Pac's Life" would be the perfect title for the last album, and be the headline track. i remember thinking i would be upset if the outlawz got on that track with there verses,i felt like not even the outlawz could be in that song.

snoop?? Zulu????? WTF!!!

Me too. ^^

I wish they could see that if Pac originally rapped over such a beat ( & was a Prince fan ) it must have meant something to him - & like you said, the Pop Life sample is the focal point of the song and hook.

"lol, the title has been changed."

^^ What thread? If you are talking about THIS one it has said Pac's life since I first put it up last night. Only thing I had to edit is the mrmakaveli.net URL.
