I doubt T:R will win, I think half of the academy saw this and didn't give a fuck about it, it'll go to a film like Super Size Me which appeals to more people.

the 2pac documentary was so dope. Super size me was aight, but kinda dirty. 2pac has to win, it was really good. Especially when hes the fucken narrator. THATS crazy and really rose the bar. I never even heard of those other ones, so they can go to hell.

im not sure what sort of passion you are reffering to in gang related, but Juice i suppose there was passion, a passion that was more intense than Edward Nortons in American History X, or Jim Caveizels in the passion? the former nominated but not winning, the latter not even nominated? its all opinion...........

and saying that 2pac deserves the oscar because its about him is like saying its the Children in "born into the brothels" getting the oscars becuase it is based on them. and saying that he deserves the oscar because he narrated it is like saying whenever a documentary wins an oscar, it is the narrator who wins the oscar.

I agree with Makaveli 411, I think that AEOM is the greatest double LP ever...whats wrong with that? Can I not have an opinion? In my eyes, it is.

And at first I thought that maybe T.R. didn't deserve to beat the competition but when you think about the amount of work and heart + soul that was put into this movie you see that it was something great. I hope it wins but it may not because SupeSize Me was more popular (although I don't think it was more influentual) and I haven't seen the other movies.

I also think that Tupac did deserve an Oscar but for ABove the Rim where he put a lot of emotion in it just like everything else he did. That's my opinion and everyone deserves to have one without being called an idiot or a clown.
