i think their biggest mistake was the use of pacs most classic tracks ... What made most those tracks ppl favs was not only how good 2pac rocked it , but how nice the beats were. I think they would of done better if they did remixes on more "filler" type songs like "whatz ya phone #" or "thug passion" and maybe add a ambitions or w/e they wanted. Not using nothing but singles every1 loves already .

There's no way the Nu-mixx is better, like I said, that whole reversed line just fucks it up for me. They could've just kept Snoop in and not reversed the lines. Or umm, just leave it blank instead of reversing?

I think it couldve still been better alot better with the right producers on it...
no doubt. besides the house of blues release, it seems suge and DR are not going out of their way for the releases. i mean, just using the row 'hitters' or whatever they're called is fine, but for every track? and if they were so good, why not use them when pac was doing it in 96? all this bullshit to save money.
on the other hand, i liked about 6 out of 10 tracks, and i dont think i liked 6 tracks on LTTG.
but some variation in production couldn't hurt... :fury:

...i'll toss in that crooked i isn't the west coast jesus that everyone was hyping him up to be. i still think that his flow in amerikaz was just weak. when snoop drops a better verse than you, it kinda makes you think.

While I'll agree that he was being overhyped, I wouldn't say that his flow was weak in the song, I just think that it didn't blend well with Pac's existing verses or even that horrendous beat for that matter.

why remix classic material? i think it takes tha shine of tha original track. i would never want to hear any remix of classic material, yea i said CLASSIC ( a word which is used too loosley)

fair enough. editing pac's shout to snoop was just dumb too...
i will say that of the death row roster, i am very happy that this project wasn't used as a springboard for eastwood, spyder, topp dogg, and the rest of the talentless idiots that the roster consisted of... would have been so easy to slap a bunch of these guys on and call it a day.

funny how suge pretty much ended owing crooked i's soul when it all finished though lol
