i'm probably going to study either business or economics, but i have time to decide because the first two years at UNC are general studies.

my undergraduate major doesn't really matter because i want to go to law school. most people who want to go to law school study political sciences or history, so it's actually beneficial to not study that for two reasons: 1) you have less competition since you're in a different area of study and 2) law schools prefer teaching from scratch, they don't to have to make unlearn and then relearn it their way. you don't actually need to know anything about law to get in, so i figured i'll get a business or economics degree AND a law degree. plus economics would help me if i do get into politics like i want to.
