his site got hacked. to summarize it,he got caught selling public projects that were supposed to be in 320, but were degraded to 192 secretly..and sold the same project for cheaper/legit 320. basically he got caught red handed scamming people left and right, and lying about everything.. this isnt the topic to discuss in here tho. there is a thread about it

Weird, each of these songs have over 1,000 downloads and yet the comments or posts here are not equal to that. Flipping free riders :D

When thugz cry: I've always loved this song, especially the cool 'by the way' that 2pac gives Nas at the end of the song. The only thing that destroyed this track on UTEOT was the pathetic hook they gave the song.

Thug in me: I love the beat on this one + someone mentioned they used the sample for 'letter 2 my unborn'. I don't rate the track too highly tho.

Changed man: sounds totally incomplete to me. I think Jermaine Dupri also used a similar beat on one of his songs back in the day.

Unconditional love: sounds better than the greatest hits version for some reason???

Fame: sounds funny, like they were kinda just messing around in the studio when they were recording the track. I prefer when 2pac does the hook.

Never call you bitch again: whats the deal with this beat being the same one on 'never be peace' og (or not)?

When I get free: not a bad version but my fav of all time is the one they put on 'r u still down'

Thanks a mil for the uploads.

These tracks sound better then ever, Uncondtional Love just fucking sounds unbelievable. I think my appreciation for the song just trippled.

When Thugs Cry sounds great too, still one of my fav OG's ever.

Unconditional love was slowed down on Greatest Hits to give Pac a darker voice, and to make the song slower and more heartfelt (I guess). That's why this sounds so different. It's also a different mix - the one on Greatest Hits is a complete mixdown. You hear stereo effect on the vocals, and the various instruments in the background are slightly panned. In this mix, everything is centered and there is little stereo.

Imo that just makes the song sound worse, because all the different frequencies overlap each other. I can't hear half the instruments I can in the GH version.

Also, lol. This mix of Unconditional Love has a lot of echo. It sounds like someone was playing it on their boombox and pushed the "Super Surround Sound" button. I think that's why a lot of you think it sounds so amazing. It's a cheap effect to fool your head into thinking there's more ambience in the recording than it is, and it's useful while you are working on a track that you want to have an ambient feel, before mixing it properly so that it actually is ambient.

Edit: Upon a third listen, I'm just gonna speed up the GH version.

I still like the fact this version was sped up a bit from the GH version. Just sounds better to me, sounds like it fits the song better.

A song like Still I Rise, however, was the opposite. They sped it up on the SIR version. The original has a much slower, heavier and fatter feel to it, and it sounds alot better to me overall then the released version.
