Good point, Death Row didn't add the whole "untouchable" thing until after Snoop's case, plus Tupac didn't start calling himself a "made nigga" until after All Eyez on Me anyway, since he usually referred to himself as a "boss playa" at that point. But if I remember correctly, that advertisement was meant for a later Tupac album. Sorry if anything is inaccurate, it's just speculation anyway.

On the september 1998 Rap Pages where they had this big "The Raping of Tupac" article which focused on bootleg Tupac material that appeared after Pac's death, it said: "This recently designed poster from Death Row was shipped to swap meets and small retailers around the same time the bootlegs showed up." Basically the whole article claimed that DR had something to do with it all.

very good info thank u abor :thumb: ...i kinda find the poster insulting to 2pac since death row is saying he was nothing before coming to death row, which is not true with success of previous albums...even though i collect promo posters this is one ill pass up on

I thought exactly that too - the poster looks like a diss to the 'Pac, even though it was probably created in good taste. It does make it sound like DR was responsible for Pac being such a success, not realising what he had achieved already before joining them. The poster stinks IMO.
