Hey guys - am currently at the 1xtra studio.

We just set up a myspace for the documentary:

we will be updating that with blogs and videos and pictures over the course of the trip - so keep checking it because i might not have a lot of time to update here as well.

Also, what are everyones suggestions for the documentary? What would you, as the fans like to see/hear from this? Keep in mind it's a 2 hour radio documentary - we'd like to cover territory that hasn't been covered before.

We will be interviewing Johnny J at KLOCKWORK Studios, Candyman 187, DJ Big Boy, Rick Edwards the head of Makaveli Branded, DJ Skee (Game's DJ) and possibly Game - these are just the ones that are currently confirmed.

So what do you want to hear?

The BBC have put a lot of time money and effort into this.

Please bear in mind that the names mentioned are the only ones confirmed right now, I'll be able to mention a few more when I get there. DJ Big Boy is a famous LA radio DJ who knew 'Pac well.

The Game - well, mostly to get opinions of current MC's on how 'Pac affected them and what his influence ten years on is. and personally I like a lot of MB's clothing.

I'm definately gonna have a great time. I think me and Candyman are gonna go to the parlor where 'Pac got a lot of tattoos so that'll be cool. and can't wait to check out Johnny J's studio.

I hope you get the chance to interview some people that haven't done numerous interview about Pac before [JJ] or peeps that didn't really know Pac unlike Game / DJ Skee. The Makaveli Branded interview seems abit pointless too, probably more of a chance for them to promote their product than talk about Pac.

I'll wait and see how it turns out, but tbh I'm not expecting alot at the moment.

I think if you want to tread new territory for this documentary, it would be good to try to get as many specific anecdotes about Pac from the people that worked with him as possible.

Rather than broad questions about Pac as a person -I think we all have a pretty decent idea of that from past documentaries - I think that collecting as many personal anecdotes about Pac from the likes of Johnny J and his other collaborators would be most interesting.

Questions for Johnny J like:

Having seen and been involved in the creation of many of Tupac songs, which songs stand out the most to you?

Which songs meant the most to Tupac?

What are your most salient memories of Tupac in the studio?

Do you have any insight that the public lacks as far as what inspired any of Pac's songs or lines?

What information has Pac ever revealed to you in private conversation that the public may not know?



Questions like those, I think, would help bring forth information that was hitherto unknown. Its very good to hear that you've got Johnny J as a confirmed interviewee - probably very few are privy to as much information as he is.
