I was so shocked when I heard this.

Amazing musician, career full of controversy but, my goodness what an entertainer.

RIP.

Maybe in a way this was for the best. Who knows how he would've ended up? I dunno. It's still sad. He was a revolutionary musician.

Im still in shock over this. I was hoping to wake up this morning and find out its not true. He was on a downward spiral. Everyone was after him trying to squeeze every penny.

The promoter for the UK shows kept saying he was a picture of health and he would 'love to be as healthy as Michael' but apparently he couldnt even last through one rehearsal.

Finally he's got some peace now. Its crazy when you actually look through his music catalogue and see what he created.

Im so happy more people are showing love. I never thought Id be upset when some 'celebrity' died.. I normally dont give a shit.. but this is different somehow

It's different cause Michael Jackson has been part of lots of people's youth, and most of ours. I bet at least 8/10 people have tried to do the moonwalk in their living room in their socks. I can remember as a kid listening to him all day on a crappy cassette player. I'm happy I got to know his music, but I'm jealous of those who got to live through the Thriller and Bad craze. I would have killed to see a live show of him.

He was probably the most famous person in the world. You just feel a loss no matter what you thought of him. Just thinking how we're never going to hear another report on what he's up to is strange. Who is everyone going to make fun of now?

Michael Jackson's alive!

Reporters: "Michael, will you be cancelling your concerts?"

Michael- "Nah, why should I? I still look exactly the same as I did before I died. Plus, now I can perform Thriller as a real zombie. Oh, and Eminem, I’m coming to kill you. I’ve always hated you and I still do."

Closest I came was when I was 12 he was doing a concert at a cricket ground stadium and they had big screens outside for all the people who couldnt get in to see him.. I was one of those people. Memory is scratchy so totally agree with wanting to see him live in that era.

I would have loved to see him live.

One of the best has died. R.I.P.

Also apparently died from an overdose. He was also apparently hooked on prescription drugs and morphine.
