someone mentioned that sluts shouldnt be given the right to just abort a baby. thats a fucked up statement. especially coming from a guy. you dont have to worry as much when you have unsafe sex that you'll end up pregnant. its easier for men to walk away from a woman they got pregnant. its harder for a woman to give up a baby for adoption, especially after its been in her body for 9 months. aside from actually raising a child i dont know if i even want to go through pregnancy. if i have kids ill adopt but i dont want to give birth, atleast not at this stage in my life, so hell yeah i would get an abortion.
i think theres a certain point, say when a baby could be born prematurely and still live independantly from the mothers body, where i would draw the line but in the first few months i would get it done and it would be really hard emotionally and physically but i should be given the right to have a safe procedure

Third, logic tells us, that the chance of there being a God somewhere out in the universe is slim to none. Over the years, many members of the board have explained in many threads why its like that, they pointed out "flaws" in religion, etc. So with you believing in God, you somehow dismiss logic, which is a little bit stupid in itself.

As for the abortion, I agree with him also. There's a line to draw at some point. I consider myself pretty liberal, but some really push it too far. Like everything, I believe there's a certain point you just can't go over. Like abortion, I understand if a woman is raped, medical problems, etc... but if the chick is a whore, and the type of whore that doesn't use condoms or birth control and keeps on having abortions. As for it being a hard choice, yes, I can imagine it is the first time you do it, but normally, it seems to me by logic, if it's that horrible the first time, why would you let it happen another 5 times? I don't know about you, but if I was a woman, got pregnant from a 1 night stand and had to go through that. It would be a wake up call.

While I understand the idea that it's impossible to regulate what woman has the right, and which one doesn't, that doesn't mean I have to embrace all aspects of abortion.

Lastly, how does it affect me? It doesn't unless it's a close family member, but it does piss me off the lack of responsibility some may have in regards to it, and I'm too fond of needless deaths, may it be a human or animal...

I don't think abortions should be made illegal. That just creates the backyard market which is completely unsafe and still ends in a dead fetus. But I think abortions should be made more difficult to get in the sense the woman is checked out psychologically, emotionally and has a support system which will either help her if she decides to or not. Many people here who don't believe in abortions also said they think victims of rape etc should have the choice, I ask how do you let some but not all? What system would there be to differentiate between them. Won't that just make the "sluts" lie more about how they got pregnant?
