My son had a tummy bug on Friday, which caused him to projectile vomit, and to have a high temperature. Me, being the kind father I am, nursed him back to health, with some calpol and Toy Story 3.

Now... I have the bug, and so did his mum.

Last night was one of the worst nights of my life. I slept about 4 hours. The rest of the time I was throwing up. And when I did sleep, my fever ensured that I tossed and turned and had seriously fucked up dreams. Mainly about the NFL. Which is probably because I fell asleep watching Peyton Manning take apart the Redskins.

Shit, even Steve Jobs is worried.

But naw, that sucks man. Wish you a speedy recovery. I usually come down with a little something when the seasons change.

Aah, yes, hallucinatory sleep. Lovely. Not much you can do against it either, have to ride it out.

Keep eating, is the only advice I can give.

^lmfao.

Nah, i dunno. My 4 nieces vomitted, then my sister, my step dad and mom. I was the only one to not get sick. I did get a stomach ache, but it wasn't that bad.
From what I know, a lot of people at my school are missing school with stomach problems too.

everytime i get a stomach bug, i feel like i never am gonna pull through. after visiting the toilet 20 times within an hour, toilet paper begins to feel like a piece of wood, and the vomiting is like hell. it happened when i was in thailand, but luckily they have those toilets with a tap next to it, where you squirt your ass with water.

I get a proper flu bout once every few years. All bells and whistles, a week of near-death, then I'm good for the next 1000 days.

I hate not being able to sleep at all when you're really sick, though. I can stand the headaches, stomach cramps, nausea, snotty nose, but taking nappy-time away really makes me bawl my eyes out.

^I've found if you take something that will knock you out you can sleep right through it. If you can keep it down :/ which is the trick.

Sorry! I hope you are feeling better by today.
PS: I saw the picture of your son in the other thread. He's really adorable.
