For the new installment I need to take you guys on a 2Pac history lesson.
Does any one of you remember when Daz Dillinger got hold of a bunch of Tupac masters a few years back, and remixed them with Mike Dean to make the Dillinger & Makaveli EP? Daz scammed the shit out of people, taking pre-orders at $500 (and then lowering it two times after people had put in orders). Amaru Entertainment took legal action and had the release ultimately halted. Daz made a mill tax-free, and despite promises to do so, he never refunded anyone for any money. Rumors had it the profit was spent battling Amaru for as long as possible, so the release date would hit. The shit leaked anyway, and Daz put it out in bootleg form over in Japan. A lot of weird shit happened behind the scenes. We all know Daz is a cooked up crackhead, and Mike Dean doesn't take more than a look upon to realize the guy is a total jerkass. I guess the upside of it all is that the original versions of the songs Daz remixed were put out along with the remixes, which were pretty alright. One of them called "First 2 Bomb" featured Mike Dean's wife, Tanya Herron.
Tanya Herron was working on a solo album once. It must have been six or seven years ago. It featured a few different rappers. Some big names. I think Twista was on it among others. Daz, Mike Dean and several others handled production. I think Jermaine Dupri even did an instrumental for her. This woman was fucked in the head. I did an interview with her once for a 2Pac website I worked on. Me and Stephen posted news along with another norwegian guy before Stephen came to HitEmUp. It was a long stretch, but who knew, maybe she knew something about tracks Daz may have held back or unreleased remixes. We were creaming for alternate versions and pre-mixes back then I remember.
Tanya was the typical girl that grew up on a farm. She was white with dark hair, tall, beautiful, reminiscent of Shania Twain a few years back. Then she moved into the city and became a full-time whore. The things she said about herself in the "interview", and things I read about her in her section on Mike Dean's personal website suggested she was an idiot. She had an undying love for weed, laced with all kinds of dopes for added sweetness. She would post things like "I LOVE GETTING HIGH YEAAAAAAAHH!!!!!!!!!!". Pictures on Mike Deans website showed Tanya Herron smoking bud in bongs and pipes, throwing gang signs with black people in some poor-looking home studio and wearing pregnant women's clothing. She looked utterly trashy. I can only think of how much her pictures speak for her actual life. A complete moron she was. In the following years, she has proceeded to add me to AIM and Facebook and message me with completely random shit, as if we had had a conversation the day before. It has happened several times. Back in those days, at a few times I tried to get back at her messages but she never responded to my replies.
Anyway, the punch of it all is that today I get a message from her on AIM, saying:
* tanyaherron123 (10:30:42 AM):[Offline IM sent 7d and 15h ago] u know mike dean from rap a lot is a big homo? his wife caught him in bed with another man and they split!!! who woulda thunk it? man he need to put that weed down lol
* tanyaherron123 is offline and will receive your IMs when signing back in.
Note how she refers to herself in third person. Mike Dean is by no means a celebrity. At best, a few music diggers might have heard his name and know a few things he did. I'm thinking maybe she's starting a rumor. She had apparent illusions of grandeur and I can just imagine that she somehow thinks it'll blow up somehow, and that she'll be able to tell her side of the story for a few seconds of internet fame. It's also sort of silly how she's talking about drug addiction. Either way, I'm sad on behalf of the life of that woman, and it's in fact so sad that I want to laugh hysterically. Thus, the "Lmao".
