Live-Squad.com upped

#1
Been working on this for a while now to bring to light the amazing career and influence Live Squad had on 2Pac and the Hip Hop scene but get no recognition for.

About 80-90% of the info is up now. I will do a big update soon for some more of the official material later in the week, but for the time being I'm happy enough to link the site to the net and make it available for everyone.

View it through www.live-squad.com/frames.htm or come through the index page.

It would help us out alot if you could link us to your sites as this would rank us higher in search engines.

Any further updates or mistakes please get in contact with me at Matt@Live-Squad.com

Major thanks to Tom (PacCollector) and Bank Robber for their extensive help, the three of us will be maintaining the site and I have no intention of ever letting it go down. There's no reason why we should not be able to get this 100% complete.

Anybody more verbally dappa than me is more than welcome to re-write the info page which I knocked up in an hour and anyone who is able to write me some code for a decent expanding menu system would have my eternal gratitude, I would like to move away from frames but I need to have the navigation buttons always displayed at the top of the page which is why the temp layout is the way it is.

Enjoy, I hope this clears up alot of the grey areas about Live Squad.

Peace.

The lay-out isn't looking too good :/ I'll see if I can whip up something better looking in the coming days.

Apart from that: great site :thumb:

Just a few questions concerning your pages.
In Unreleased Tracks section you write:
Dee the mad bitch feat 2Pac- Judgement Day
Featuring : Dee the mad bitch and 2Pac
Co-written by : Dee the mad bitch, 2Pac and Stretch
Produced by : Stretch
Year : (?)
This track is widely known to be produced by Assassin, any info?
2Pac - Hennessey (original version)
Featuring : 2Pac
Co-written by : 2Pac, Stretch and Majesty
Produced by : ?
Year : (?)
hmm, This track features Big Syke and Mouse Man I believe...
And is really Uppercut with Stretch? I didn't know...
And in Discography:
Isn't Nothin 2 Lose produced by Stretch?
The site is great, I believe, you should make some improvements in it's design and it will be 100% pure!!

If you could, that would be cool. I spent ages trying to get an expanding menu system working with buttons that change graphics when onmouseover and onmouseclick but gave up in the end and left it the way it is, this isn't how I want the final layout to be at all. I have no clue how to program in Javascript either!

Also, if anyone with an artistic flair wants to design a proper index page I could probably hook you up with some rare Live Squad material for your effort.

If you click any blue links it should give you info about something.

About that "Judgement Day" track; I included the info that Assassin dropped saying that Stretch originally produced the track and Assassin renamed it.

"Hennessey", yeah you're right it features Byke Syke and Mopreme. I guess it was originally produced by Live Squad.

"Uppercut", again I think the writing credits indicate that Stretch produced the song but never featured on it.

"Nothing 2 Lose" was produced by 2Pac, Stretch and Majesty.

Peace.

I'll email you with a new lay-out somewhere tomorrow-ish. I'll design a whole new site, including index page ;)

No problem.

Although I seen you've been using frames again, I'll make some better this weekend, with the specs you requested.

And like I said: I'm always glad to help out with the lay-out, could use some work ;)
