just curious 2pac's mom got Dj Quick to produce this track for Betterdayz and i realized he was the original producer for this track and i realized he did use the same beat but it seems like he just got it more mastered and crisp, but why did he cut him self out? also whos the other artist rappin after 2pac on the OG? i know this might of came up before so im sorry but im just curious why he cut him self out of his own track...hes verse was tight if he re recorded it it would of been real nice same with the 2nd dude rapping..why were they cut when he produced this track again. also i noticed before in the original theres a sample and the exact sample is in the betterdays version as well so why for other orginals they cant clear them but they could clear this one..it just got me thinkin after i heard the og today..

the song was made during the all eyez sessions with quik and amg, and later was redone (not a new 2pac take though) as a 2pac + outlawz track. the track first appeared on retail on the chronic 2000 compilation.

Late Night was originally recorded with AMG for All Eyez On Me. It was then remixed with the Outlawz (while Pac was alive) and then released on Chronic 2000: Still Smokin' (after Pac died). Who Do U Believe In was also on Chronic, and then both were re-released on Better Dayz.

I'm guessing this may have been discussed already but was Late Night '95 supposed to be a totally different track from Late Night? I've always thought that Late Night was a remake of '95.

this is one of my all time favorite songs Pac, Quik and AMG don't get much better. all we need is a version with fatal and kadafi's verse pieced with AMG & Quik's unedited verses in CDQ because fatal and kadafi's both rip there verses

I believe it's been said that the CDQ of the version with Quik and AMG is available if you look hard enough.
Indeed...had it back in 1998 along with HIT EM UP (OG-AKA Part 2) in CDQ. Got both songs later on and thought they were the same, but were the versions everybody has such as the RETAIL releases, not the BOOTLEGGS...So i gave the cd to a friend and that was that. FUCK IM DUMB!

Actually...No. My father has a friend at work who gave me the cd because her brother has some type of music connections. I have been asking for another cd of the tracks from way back when (97-98) but still have not recieved them. Hopefully soon, if she still has the tracks...my dad keeps forgeting to ask and its been going on for years now.
