I was watching this movie today, a pretty old one now I guess... Muriel's Wedding, probably only Jess will have seen it. It's such a goofy movie. Good though.

Anyway, do any of you think about your wedding whenever it may happen? Would you want it traditional or something modern or maybe just something small and simple? The whole dress, bridesmaids, cars, cakes etc is fun I think.

On the way home from work I passed 3 wedding processions. Made me think, although I've never given heaps of thought to the idea of weddings, it's something that in the back of my mind I look forward to (eventually. when and if i find 'the one'.) lol.

while shopping a couple weeks ago i saw a wedding shop with dresses and all of a sudden i was like ooohh itd be so exciting to pick out a wedding dress bcuz they were all so pretty, i dont think i could ever decide on just one gown! apart from that, i havent given it much thought bcuz at this point i dont wanna get married

Yeah its always there but I think I'm more excited about knowing when I have the man I want for the rest of my life and we start more the 'married life' thing. Wedding will just be a means to a start will be fun though..

I think when you've been going out with someone for a long time, marriage becomes an inevitable thought. I'm still too young though. Also, I'm totally freaked out about not knowing how everything is supposed to be at weddings, so I choose not to think about it too much.

I don't think about it too much, i'm more focused on my career now.

However, when and if I do get married, I want it to be small and intimate, somewhere where the scenary is gorgeous and it has to be outside. Somewhere far away, probably not in the states.

hehe yeah it is. I always think I am too young as well. I thought when I got into my twenties I'd have more of an idea or rather more of a desire for these kinds of things, but it still seems so far off.

Lol, is there a way things are supposed to be? I dont think i'd be a bridezilla but I can imagine myself wanting things to be perfect.

Yeah same but over time I can see that gradually I'm beginning to put more emphasis on smaller goals like love and family and whatever (something that I never paid attention to) ... and in the end I think it's the smaller things that will bring me real happiness.

i want an italian wedding. by italian, that means, LOTSA PEOPLE. which will be kinda an obligation. eh italian families are like that so bieng 1/2 italian.

dunno how i want it. dunno if i'll ever get married. its not really part of my plans. dont really believe in that seeing all the divorces that happen. but i think i'd want it sorta traditional in church. i want the whole thing. the limo, the bridesmaid, the big wedding party. its either i have the whole thing or i dont get married. eh i'm italian, i see big on those things.

i wanna get married on a beach in someone hot like jamica or the maldeve's somewhere really romantic.

i don't want a church wedding it isn't really for me, plus they say the average wedding in the uk costs like £25,000, fuck that!!!

so i wanna get married on a beach and then have a blessing when i get home, that way i get to wear my dress twice
