I think Tongue Kissing is a weak track. Poor lyrics, poor production.

There's better tracks. And most can be kept OG.

Loads are still "modern" enough sounding to fit todays hip-hop sound. I understand that the tracks from 91-94 needed remixing. But Eminem did a bad job, the tracks were too political to fit the sound he created.

Amaru should try releasing an OG album, there's no way it'll sell less than LTTG. With a bit of promo they'd sell double. But no. They also need to start approaching fan sites like this. 2pac has a huge die hard fan base, his fans would put in so much effort. And for free. Free marketing is priceless.

I disagree Tongue kissin great song, good lyrics, like the production. Also i don't think a tupac album of og's would sell double LTTG. A lot of people i believe, myself included like to listen to og's but would prefer to listen to an updated version. Example- listen to the song All Out -OG , pretty good track, All out from the released cd, AWESOME SONG. Another Example- Last ones left og, pretty good, the one released on cd... ABSOLUTE CLASSIC. I do agree that there needs to be more promotion for the album and a video and single. One thing I don't understand though, is that everyone loves pac and says they love pac, but then when decent singles like Until the End of Time and Thugz Mansion come out, the radio stations never play it... pisses me off. Well this is all My Opinion so no offense intended. I also disagree that pacs legacy was somehow destroyed by eminem?! Does anyone think of pac any less because of LTTG? if anything it puts a big dent in eminems legacy. I for instance, had a lot more respect for him until this dissapointing cd. I still like him, but this + encores quality = :(. Pac's legacy still and always intact.

I'd like to see a video with various different artists and celebreties giving up praise to pac...kind of like the Big Pun video for "its so hard". I think people who haven't listened to pac would become aware of the type of people he has touched.
that would be nice ... instead we get some weird ghetto gospel video with his voice all distorted

Johnny J - He might have something left in him

Hurt M Badd- he did teh 7 day theory album and it turned out great

Shock G- Brings an Old School flavor to teh cd

i dont know the guys name, but he produced "brendas got a baby" and some other tracks

Leave All Tracks Og!
If they happened to choose somebody out of the mainstream like johnny j, then why would they not just keep all the tracks OG, how much more would that cost them to go through with the samples and everything?

johhny j though has kept some of the songs that he "reproduced" in the og form, like lil homies, lastonesleft, well ok, i thought i had sumthin going here, but i guess i just proved myself wrong, lol. although i thought not all of his songs were that bad. But who they really should bring back is QDIII and like daryll harper, now that shit would be tight cuz i'm sure those guys produced a lot of his unrleased stuff and they did a really nice job on the still i rise album. I also have a thought that has occurred to me and i don't know if anyone has brough it up before but maybe amaru has this brilliant plan of relaseing all of tupacs songs like updated or remixed and then after all those are gone re-release them all their OG form, I would think that that would be a brilliant plan to make a shitload of money, of course we'd have to suffer through a few more sucky pac cds but its worth the wait to get all the songs in OG format.
What do people think about this and the actual possibilities?

there is no way that amaru will release 2Pac songs again in OG format.here are teh reasons:
1. alot of the OG's use samples and amaru are cheap and dont pay for samples
2. releasing an OG cd would mean paying producers again, which is a lot of money
3. 2Pac dosent have much of a large fan base anymore.

look at how many people bought UTEOT, or BD. they will not make as much money, becuz less people will buy the OG album compared to teh new and updated ones. younger generations dont like teh OG's, its mostly hardcore 2pac fans, or old school rap fans. so basically forget about the OG set. and Amaru have made it clear that they wanna make money first, they chose eminem to produce the tracks cuz he offered to do it for FREE.

I hope that daz is gonna do some songs to. And I hope that they put the rappers on like Richie Rich,Spice1,Dogg pound (they are back together so would be great) and put snoop dogg on it,nate dogg,dr.dre, the rated R,Mopreme,Macadoshis, big syke,Rappin 4 tay, danny boy, outlawz,Hussein fatal, napoleon. Just the reallest rapper out there! Then you got a HOT 2pac album!!

I agree. There's a lot of remixes I prefer. Even Eminem remixes, or remix.
A large amount could be left OG though. But there's no music brain at Amaru, and no-one seems to care. Maybe it;s a struggle to get the music released, so then just getting a cd in the store is a triumph.
