That indeed sucks Casey. You convinced me that it's highly suspicious then, I didn't know about those circumstances. It's fucked up.

couldn't JJ have just called his lawyer if he was having problems, surely someone with money has some kind of legal backing, even in the county jail
You can have as many lawyers as you want. That shit doesn't affect what happens on the inside. If the prison guards are against you, and you've got no chance for bail for 6 months, what the fuck are you gonna do?

Found this new Jon B interview, main points for us Pac fans are below:

He said that Johnny J (Tupac’s Producer) did not commit suicide in jail as was previously reported but was pushed by inmates when he refused to join their racist gang.

He believes Suge Knight had Tupac killed because Tupac was planning on leaving Death Row to pursue bigger and better things. Suge unfortunately was not trying to hear that.

Him refusing to join a gang was not the main reason shit went down. It was a few things one of the biggest was that he was too down with the blacks inside the jail which is wat started everything.

Exactly. But as Tupac's producer, how could he not be down with the black guys? Hell, Johnny's wife Cap is black, his kids are mixed. He just become an tragic victim of something much bigger than himself. And it fucking sucks.

Yes and thats the real fucked up part. Shit i could have a homie that i consider like a brother but if he was black and we both got locked up, we would literally not be able to even say watz up to each other inside without our life being in danger for doing it.

This is just depressing. Everything and everyone even remotely connected to 'Pac seems like they are just coming on hard times, dying, selling out, or fading away. Depressing.

Not sure if i believe the rumor or not. JJ was in for a DUI its not like he was going to be in there for a while. If its true that does suck though. The comment on Suge killing Pac doesn't tell us nothing. It's just another opinion from another jail mate that doesn't know nothing.

Either way JJ's wife and family should do an investigation on the matter!

Actually Johnny was locked up for 6 months with no chance of bail and no hearing until early December.

They say time is a healer but I still can't believe what happened. I mean I was pretty content with the suicide story even though people said it didnt add up. Then came the story of his alleged murder and that saddens me. This racial crap is never gonna leave this planet.

Any further news about investigations into his death? For those who are on here regulalrly, did street hop post up any news on foul play? I know they reported his death only.

I pretty much agree with casey rain and DP. being in the federal Lows... the politics aint as bad cause pretty much noone wants to leave a low.. but when you are in the mediums/highs its exactly as dp said.. no talking..

I was in transit going thru san bernadino county jail back in 07 and its not the same per say (cause its not LA) but it is bad to a point where you going to wanna watch who u talk too even if he's your friend

There was this mexican dude who came in the dorm where i was and he came str8 to me and asked who the black rep was, i was like.. theres not really one but holla at any OG. basically the deal was he was a blood from south central LA and wanted to make sure the blacks had his back just incase the sureno/south siders pushed up on him

lmao nah they didnt touch him.. most of the dudes in there was on fed beefs so they not going to do anything to make they situation worse.. thats one thing I can say about the feds.. they make you get some act right with this 85% shyt

I actually had a 18th st bunky for like 2days.. he was on a rico case from what he was telling me.. but 99.9% if not 100% of the time.. there is no bunking between blacks and surs so I always thought the jonny J thing was fishy from the jump cause it happened while i was still locked up and ppl that knew about the situation like that story didnt sound right at all

For those interested, I'll be posting up a video soon which is a sort of a tribute/recap of when I interviewed Johnny at his studio in 2006. I briefly mention his death and the theories around it, which hopefully will spark off some discussion on youtube.

Froggy, DP, once I post it up I hope you guys will comment on it and get some discussion going there, that would be much appreciated. I'll post a link here when it's done, the audio is getting edited in the next 2 weeks and it's getting synced with a bunch of unseen photos from the trip.
