Jacko Accuser's Brother Admits Lying

#1
The 14-year-old boy who claims he saw Michael Jackson twice molest his brother has admitted in court that he once lied under oath.

Under cross-examination, potential holes began to appear in Star Arvizo's evidence as Jackson's lawyer sought to highlight various inconsistencies.

Tom Mesereau quizzed him about an alarm which sounds every time someone walks down the hallway outside Jackson's bedroom.

Star had told the court in Santa Maria, California, that he twice saw Jackson lying on his bed next to Gavin, then aged 13, touching both himself and the boy while aroused.

He had not mentioned the electronic bell when giving evidence for the prosecution, but acknowledged that it had sounded both times, apparently unheard by both Jackson and his brother.

Mr Mesereau claimed Star's version of the alleged assault had changed many times, highlighting statements he made to a therapist and the grand jury when he said Jackson had put his hand on top of Gavin's underwear rather than inside and once when he said Jackson touched his brother's buttocks as opposed to his crotch.

Star denied changing his story, but responded to numerous questions about inconsistencies by claiming he could not remember what he had said.

He admitted Jackson had never shown him the pornographic magazine Barely Legal, dated August 2003, which has been projected into the courtroom on a big screen.

Star has not visited Jackson's Neverland ranch since March 2003 but previously testified that the magazine was among those Jackson had shown him and his brother. He insisted it was simply the same type of magazine, not the exact publication.

Star was also quizzed extensively about a lawsuit his family filed against US retail chain JC Penney.

The boys' mother, Janet, claimed she was sexually assaulted and the family beaten by guards after Gavin was caught shoplifting.

The Jackson team is seeking to portray her as someone who encouraged her children to lie in order to bring false allegations.

Star admitted he had lied under oath in that case, when he claimed his parents never fought and that his father never hit him.

Asked whether someone had told him to lie, Star said: "I don't remember.''

Jackson, 46, denies molesting Gavin, plying him with alcohol and conspiring to hold him and his family captive.

The trial continues.

Dude is innocent :thumb:

I don't believe Jackson is guilty of what he's being charged off.
But he isn't innocent of how he lives his life.

Where's Pennypacker at??
Pennypacker reporting for duty.

You know he intimidated that kid....
Forget anything and everything except what we're talking about right now. I am wiling to challenge your statement, but that's not the topic. It is about the story of the accuser being true. A true story does not waver or change at any time. It remains the same. So far, both the younger brother and older sister of the accuser have admitted to telling inconsistent statements, and the sister admitted to lying about the case. That's funny. Two family members already can't be trusted. Let's see who is left: the mother (a professional - or 'wannabe' professional - liar) and the accuser.

It does mean something. It is all about whether a person can be trusted or not. If a well known liar came to you and asked to borrow money, would you let him borrow money? I don't think so. If a well known person, who has never lied in his life, came to you and asked for money, would you let them borrow? That depends on your personality, but at least you'd trust the honest man more. Its all about credibility. Right now, these kids are not credible.

Which 14 yearold boy dont lie?
A 14 year old that is under oath. It does not matter how old you are. It is about the fact that you are under oath. You can't excuse his actions by saying kids lie. This is not your average every day misdemeanor. This is lying about what an man did and can affect the freedom of this man. You should not lie about something like this.

nope i just wacthed the update of the Michael Jackson trial,
Don't think Michael is innocent or guilty because of something you see on TV. Judge Michael Jackson by all statements, actions, evidence of both sides (defense, prosecution).

But he isn't innocent of how he lives his life.
Michael Jackson is certainly peculiar, and he has never said something to the contrary. He's not your average 46 year old man, and no one has said otherwise. He lives how he wants to live, not by how others want him to live. Give him props for being himself and not falling prey to the beliefs of general society. I certainly would not want to live anything like him, but I have to show love for him for not being afraid to be himself. That's something many of you guys won't dare to do: being yourself regardless of what others say.

Jackson's fucked in the head but I dont believe he did this.
If you only knew what he's really like in real life. I wish everyone could meet him for like 30 minutes, because that's all you'd need to completely change your negative opinion of him. He's one of the most caring, giving, humble, and smart men you'll find.

Pennypacker I was kidding. I only mentioned you because you're a big fan & said once before that you'd do anything for him.

I thought the the thread starter made it clear that the kid's brother was lying therefore, logically, the prosecution have very little to go on.

I do think he's innocent of this charge.
