i love getting pleasure from the simpliest things in life. thats one of them .
we used to feed the swans and ducks over winter time too when i was back in scotland.
that's way too ordinary but still sad. one day when i was walking to school there was a dead cat with its guts ripped out laying dead by the side of a tree. its was a sad morning. the organs were half outside the body
nice one bobby. so considerate of you. someplaces have banned this because its considered as littering.
Yeah, I feel good about doing shit like that too. I was feeding these squirrels at school my lunch for like 15 minutes a couple weeks ago. It was awesome.
I always throw left over crumbs or old bread outside for birds or squirrels. Sometimes I put old veggies in a secluded corner on my lawn (we have a family of wild bunnies that run around here, I see them every now and then crossing the road lol)
I also like things like these. We're getting old.
I can see us chatting about how awesome feeding birds is while taking a walk in the park at 6 in the morning.
Seriously though, I always liked things like this. When I was small I used to feed animals quite often and really enjoyed it.
the other day a rabbit escaped from another house and came into our back garden for the umpteenth time. honestly im sick of it, i eating all my mum's plants so i threw him a brazil nut. and he never ate it. bastard! so unappreciative. i LOVE those brazil nuts, and he made me waste 2 of them!!
A few weeks ago I kept teasing ducks with grass I ripped up, they thought it was food and would zoom up to it only to find it wasn't food.. hehe It's only a little evil..
I saw two squirrels today just running and playing on the ground, I was less than a foot away and they didn't seem scared, it was awesome. I took a picture and was going to put it as my status update saying "LOL @ squirrels" but the image hoster I wanted to use was down.
That's awesome Bobby, during the summer I always take my mentally challenged step brother to feed the geese at our local park. It's kinda cool, I've met a few really interesting people while there.
i see loads of squrrels, foxes, rabbits, hares, deer, hedgehogs etc around here during spring and summer, especially if i get up really early in the morning.

That's a good point. I guess they aren't in hibernation for some reason around here. There was two of them and they were just scampering around and eating nuts as usual.
oh there's loads of woodland animals around the great barr/hamstead area. there's loads of squirrels in our back garden. they live up a huge tree in the back.
