still, thing is, not much people post, not much people create threads. i'm not saying the board is boring, i'm saying the board's activity has reduced a lot compared to what it was. and that is the reason why people consider it boring.

You see the problem with this post is simple, just because rukas grew up and u dont like that we went with a more mature focus and stop catering to the kiddies and banned all the losers that brought down this community but thats life, thats how the world works theres no democracy in business its run by a board of directors that are older and wiser. we dont want to cater to 11 year old duchbags and 25 year olds acting like 11 year old duchbags we want there to be good conversation so what if the site slows down, atleast i can say that when i go into a thread theres something good to read. rubbish. the board is boring. plain and simple. those "11 year olds" were the ones making the community, not destroying it. notice how when all those "11 year olds" were banned the same thread in our block still exists on the first page after a week? i dont get why youre so defensive about this issue. it's crystal clear that the board has been slow and boring for a while now. its nothing to do with the seasons. for the last couple of years it's been on a huge decline to the point where most people are only checking for the forum out of habit and because they've been here long enough to have developed some sort of relationship with it.

seriously though. this whole "the board got boring and there's no new posts" mentality is probably as much a cause for the slow-down as banning. okay, don't quote me on that, but they're both factors nevertheless, and i think if people changed the way they think, they would automatically feel moreso inclined to make posts. people have no motivation to make threads because they figure "no one's gonna check it out anyway". if you think like this, you are as wrong as anyone else pertaining to this matter.

Maybe some of their minds matured and aren't looking for a internet forum to type in anymore. I can speak for about 8-9 of the above mentioned and say they are busy with their real life.

I know that if the shit I used to post back in the day was posted today, I'd yawn at it and prolly close it by saying it was stupid. All of the members that registered 01-03 were around the same age and mentality. And we were all craving the same or similar shit. And all those people that kept the site "alive" are older now and dont have the time or need for this site nemore.

And when they do try to make a return, faggot posters--such as the banned ones, would try and act smart by responding to their posts immaturely. I know alot of members who have stopped posting cuz of the stupid ass (ex)-members here. I was comparing it to since I came back november of last year. From then till date, I rather have times like this than have stupid people running around making retarded--same shit--threads.

Well, being one of the people mentioned by SiGh. I can say that having other things to do in my life is the reason why I don't post as much. When I first joined, it was my freshman year of college. I had pretty much nothing to do. I wasn't old enough to go to clubs. I wasn't certain what I wanted to major in, I was just hanging out. So, sitting in the dorms with other idiots led me to hanging out online a lot. And I mean, yeah, back then it was A LOT of fun. I remember sitting online till 3 or 4 am with Froggie, SiGh, KeCo, etc talking on AIM and waiting on something cool to happen from an expose thread ect. But I mean, as an adult, I have responsibilities. I have a job, I have to finish my degree, etc. I don't have time to hang online as much anymore. So, I mean, those days of sitting around on TB doing nothing are pretty much over.

And after awhile, the immaturity does get annoying. When I would come online and post...say I wanted to talk about something serious that was going on at the time, there would always be one idiot to kick off a bunch of nonsense replies to what was a serious topic and get the thread closed.

I came back only because a few members I respect asked me too. Most of the people who I talked to on here, aren't on here as much anyway. We keep in touch via e-mail, myspace, or different messengers. With the annoying members running rampid through here, and having other means of contacting them...this leads to a lot of people, including myself, not posting as much.

Retirement home? NO. However, most of us are at pivotal points in our lives, about to graduate from college, entering the real work field, trying to find out "where do we go from here", getting married, having children,etc. When you grow up, you do different things. The jokes and conversations mature as well.

The bad part is for the younger members, that a lot of you missed out on us being silly, young, and dumb. And now you're here once we've all grown up. At 21, the same porn jokes aren't funny to us anymore. Hell, we can make our own damn porn. Sorry kiddos. But the good part is, you can learn from a lot of our stories and mistakes and use them as guidance in your own lives. You'll get a lot of different perspectives. Plus, a lot of times, if you need advice and don't want to tell anyone close to you, you can ask someone from here. I've talked to many people on here about problems i've had and gotten damn good advice. I've done the same for just as many people. Yes, there are positive sides to this. But, just like life, hip hop, and relationships....the board as well matures with you.
