If pac died the first time he got shot do you think we would still be talking about him as much as we do? i personally think the 7 day theory an aeom are his best albums! some people say matw is his best work, i dont belive that! i think its tight but not his best! do you think dvds would still be coming out if he passed the first shooting? or as many books? i think he would still be a legend but not on nearly the scale he is.

Pac said he was surprised to make it to 25, however failed to mention about becoming the biggest rap star on earth. The latter of the two is more a surprise I would think. It doesn't add up. Pac wasn't meant to die first time round somehow, it sure as hell fueled him for the rest of his life. I dont think he would have got into that fight at mgm if he didnt get shot first time.

Think about it no hit em up (song or forum) cant imagine it myself.

what is matw ?
Me Against the world...

And no i don't think he would be as big if he hadn't survived the first shooting.. All Eyez On Me really got his name out there in the commercial world more then the previous albums, IMHO.

Nah, he wouldn't be as big. AEOM launched him to a level of stardom.

Although he would've went out kind of like he did: with an amazing album being released swiftly after his death.

You know how ya'll think rappers like MC Eiht and Mac Dre don't get as much appreciation as they should.....well 2pac would be on there level, but I think he would have still be on tha legendary status. Think about it. MATW (Me Against The World) would have been his last album, and 2pac would have never got to see it be released; like the Makaveli the Don album. MATW was a classic album (like Makaveli the Don WOULD'VE been). 2pac had something about him that was better than tha average rappers 91-94. He had Dear Mama, Brenda's Got A Baby, Keep Ya Head Up, and a bunch of other hits (remember, his mama would eventually release R U Still Down.)

So now its 2005. 2pac would have still been legendary because he was still unique and had that "compassion". He had that THUGLIFE on his legacy, since that would have his last representation.

So 2pac would have still been a legendary man in 2005, we just wouldn't here Hail Mary and Hit em up.

No Thug Life would have been his last album, cause the shooting was 94`and MATW was 95`.

Yeah, but before he got shot, he had some MATW songs already. Cuz after he got shot, the next day he went to court and then he went to jail. So Me Against The World had to be made before he got shot.

Look at Big L ... all he had was mixtapes and he is in a light of one of the best rappers because of what he could of been.

If 2pac died in 94 his last album would be MATW , r u still down, and loyal to the game.... He wouldnt be considered how he is now . Ppl call him the greatest that ever did it , some call him black jesus(big syke said this) , shyt some ppl even call him a profit.

Erm, Big L had a near classic album in Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous & another cool album in The Big Picture.

It's true that he had yet to fulfil his full potential but his legendary status is assured more because of the skills he displayed & the way he went out.

Something everyone forgets is that Me Against The World debuted at #1, while Pac was in jail, after he got shot...while he was STILL ALIVE.

Now if he was dead, it's guaranteed that the album would have probably still gone #1 (sentimental reasons from casual fans and intrigue over his life and death), and 'Pac would have probably still become a legend.

^Not as big as he is today though. MATW was a turning point for Tupac. Songs like Dear Mama and So Many Tears brought Pac a whole new status. No Cali Love and Hit em Up? DK7? Those songs made Pac a legend.
