i wouldn't really call him being on a bad boy remix the same thing.
Correct, however it seems as snoop doesn’t even acknowledge 2pac . Acting almost as he had never met him. I recognize snoop doesn’t exactly “owe” 2pac anything or really obliged to do anything, but according to Afeni she stated in Resurrection that Snoops family and her family “pray” together….

Doesn’t this show that if they stayed connected to the degree where they pray together, shouldn’t he dedicate a song , or even maybe I d k help promote his dead friends albums?

^yea, DUB CEE's right, 4 example he gave a tribute to Pac in concert in Poland (the same tribute as on Up In Smoke concert)

Probably. For one thing, Dante has mentioned that the leak sourced from a rare O.F.T.B. promo cassette tape, and since the O.F.T.B. album has been eternally shelved, we probably won't see it come out, especially since Pac's lyrics contain references to them ("Rockin' with that Operation, knockin' out your Bottom") which would make it hard for Amaru to alter (like how they changed "Kurupt" to "Trick" in the retail version of Still Ballin'). However, with Suge's new situation regarding money and music, he might have to resort to pulling out every song he still has within his reach.

I'm still not sure what to make of this. If Suge puts out new stuff, doesn't Amaru have the right to stop him from releasing it? Wouldn't his only option be to give up freely (and not sell) his remaining shit to Amaru?

If this is the case, I don't see it looking good for the chance that we will get OG versions of songs. Our best chance to hear original, or close-to-original versions of songs, was when the music was exclusively in the hands of death row and frankly I'm sick and tired of what Amaru is doing to the songs.

Can you imagine us only hearing fucked-up, remixed versions of "Never Had A Friend Like Me," "Starin' Thru My Rearview," "Lost Souls," etc, and never knowing what the OGs sounded like?

Overe here in LA they have something on Power 106 (radio) every weekday called the "10 o'clock 2pac" (i think it's supposed to be a pun for 2-pack) where they play 2 back-to-back songs at 10am. Snoop does the little intro sound byte for it.

Tupacs verse on Street Life is brilliant. Raw emotion behind his lyrics.... "when they come to get me bring an army an outlaw thug motha fucka who could harm me! Huh!". That bit sends a chill down my spine. This has got to see the light of day. I could imagine it finding its way onto the next album minus Prince Ital Joe and possibly a new Snoop verse. Need it in CDQ to appreciate it fully.

I don't completely know the details regarding how Suge can release new material, but from my understanding of how other knowledgable members have explained it, Suge obviously can't put out entire albums of unreleased Pac material solely through Death Row (but he can if it's a joint effort with Amaru, such as Greatest Hits and what not), but he can somehow put out various compilations with a Pac song or two, such as Chronic 2000 (containing Who Do U Believe In and Late Night, both of which ended up being re-released on Better Dayz) and Too Gangsta for Radio (containing Friends and Thug Nature, both of which ended up being remixed on Until the End of Time).

That's not entirely true. The rights to the music transferred to the Estate in what, 1997 or 1998, yet Death Row has still managed to legitimately squeeze out a few unreleased Pac songs here and there in the compilations I mentioned. Yet in the mentioned Death Row releases, the songs were either in OG form or somewhat similar to the OG.

I got tired of skipping past Prince Ital Joe, so I just went ahead and used a mp3 editing program to edit him out. Saves me from having to scan past him every time I listen to it.
