How Would You Defend 2pac?

I just got into an argument about 2pac. This dude is one of those "christians" who believes 2pac destroys black people and thinks all his messages are garbage. I'm a christian too but I accept Pac because I remember during some low points in my life, listen to 2pac made me feel a lil better cuz I knew somebody else out in the world was feelin the same pain I felt. He might say "bitches" and "kill em all" "fuck the world", but if he can be relative to my emotions like that and have the understand ing to try and work better at his flaws, they why should I exclude him from my music listenings? He's human. I shouldn't be upset about this, but when I hear somebody tell me that 2pac is evil, I just get pissed off at their ignorance. He didn't know Dear Mama and called the song Thugz Mansions "Ghetto Mansion". And then he has the audacity to tell me to "take to time and read the lyrics...its all garbage, you can't get nothin' good from it...":fury: Has anybody ever lose sleep cuz somebody's ignorance about 2pac got you heated? I put nobody above God. Pac really did get me thru some hard times though THANKS TO GOD. And I don't like gospel music much. Just the message. I can't listen to it though. I'd rather listen to my 90's Westcoast funk. It calms me. But back to the question. And in addition, how would you defend Pac?

Pac needs no defense. All you have to do is tell that moron to listen to lyrics and he'd hear that Pac was reflecting what he saw and went through. He'd hear about how he made up with his mom and how there's not much out there more important than loyalty to friends and family. So what he talks about smokin and screwin? Turn on the tv and what do you see? Smokin and screwin... Pac didn't start that. And unless I'm totally wrong, Pac never said just go out and beat someone down just to do it. He, like most people in this world, said to fight back when someone's fuckin with ya. Defense? Pac'd be on offense and just spit some lyrics at him, but I'm not that fast with the exact lyrics.

Nine times out of ten people that say "fuck tupac" don't have a fucking clue what they're talking about. And since they really don't know anything except maybe bits and pieces are rumors/untruths they've heard, they're not even worth talking to. I wouldn't even waste my energy on it. Such people are sad.

Go on YouTube and listen to Pac's interviews. There's this one guy who has a lot of them. Dont speak for him have Pac speak for himself. Just listen to them again and pick up what he says.
