Isn't it weird how in almost every clean version of a song, Pac sounds less emotional?
Hit 'Em Up... Pac was practically yelling. Compare when he says "First off, fuck your bitch and the clique you claim" to the clean version where he goes "First off, touched your chick and the clique you claim." There's just so much more energy in the LP version.
2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted... compare certain parts like when Pac says "Now follow as we RIIIIIDE, mothafuck the rest, two of the best from the West Side" to when he says "Now follow as we riiide, you can check the rest, two of the best from the West Side" in the clean version. The LP is just so much more wild.
On the opposite end of the emotion spectrum, compare I Ain't Mad at Cha. Listen to when Pac says "I can see us, after school, we'd BOOOMB" in both versions. The LP version is just so much more intense.
I wonder why Pac just didn't put the same vocal energy into both versions of his songs...
