When Loyal To The Game was being put together, one of the producers that did the album before Eminem stepped in wanted Janet Jackson on one of the song's hooks. Apparently she agreed. Afeni said no, and said she wanted Jada Pinkett on there, but Jada said no. The song was never finished with either of them.

It was a love song.

The hook was sort of like an answer to Pac's verse type thing if you know what I mean.
